“but you dont need to be a conservative to see that Perry has debating problems. Theres a reason why all these rinos were crying and begging for Christie to save them from the other rinos.”
Good point...the establishment sees a LOT of weakness in Perry - and so do I. Can you just imagine him debating Hillary for the top job (and yes that may well be the case a year from now)?
I fear that you are right. I am not sure that our country will not avoid a prolonged depression with another RINO and then another Obama.
I want to scream. If I am put into the position of having to vote for another "McCain", I am gonna rebel.
“Rick has the conservative goods, the record to prove them...”
He’s does have some goods, but I’ve lived under him for 10 YEARS and he hasn’t done a damn thing about Illegals, other than coddle them and invite them in with the Dream Act. (ok, he did some token gestures...but that’s about it)
We don’t need McCain CLONE running again - the people on this site are just sick of being preached at by these people. We know what needs to be done, and we WILL find a candidate that WILL do it.
I have no confidence in the electorate, and little in the field candidates.
Then you are not bothering to pay any attention at all and are merely confusing knee jerk negativity and ignorant cynicism for wisdom.
The lesson for 2012 is that the best candidate is often the most conservative one.
That succinctly sums it up - and I agree. No RINOs, this time!
” Hes does have some goods, but Ive lived under him for 10 YEARS.....” <<<<
And yada yada yada. I don’t care if you were born on the state house lawn in Austin, there is nobody running who has remotely experienced governance over a near nation-state the size and scope of Texas, where you can thank your lucky stars could be another California but is not. Why is that? The application of conservative principles in war, peace and politics is alive and well, and on duty in Texas, thanks to Rick Perry bothering to sustain it all. JOBS is his conservative bona fidis, having provided HALF of all jobs in the entire nation. His footprint on the border, while governing a near Hispanic-majority state, is the greatest effort in the nation and all this with Obama tieing him up every step of the away. His experience is so much broader and more complicated and more successful than the other dwarfs running that we’re seeing a phenomenon who is single handedly fighting on a range of fronts and for the survival of our Republic playing out in Texas. Want it all in the hands of Romney? Cain? Their thin record consists entirely of advice for everyone else but remains so totally void of heavy issues, experience or weight compared to Perry. Except for Romney creating a health care monster in MA that the Marxists use as a perfect pattern for socialism in healthcare, there is not one of these candidates bringing anything to the table but their mouth. The only way to the nomination is through Rick Perry, so killing his record and smearing him personally and politically is the sum total of what makes them relevant. Hell of a foundation for a campaign isn’t it.
“ Hes does have some goods, but Ive lived under him for 10 YEARS.....”
If he can’t debate and thinks of people OF HIS OWN PARTY as heartless when they disagree with him, it really doesn’t matter...because he will not become president.
(his coddling of illegals doesn’t help either)
BTTT
America will thank you for your stellar performance as a purist who kills the the giant only to crown the dwarf who will sell you tomorrow. Wake up!
you want fire? I'll show you fire. who do you teabaggers think you are?
You can keep Perry in Texas. You seem to be thin skinned. As for experience I will stick with Cains. I am done with incumbents. Seems to me Cain has more debating skills and that is one of the things that got O’Dumby elected.
Oh Rita, you are so full of it.
“America will thank you for your stellar performance as a purist who kills the the giant only to crown the dwarf who will sell you tomorrow. Wake up!”
I only wish I had that much power.
Anyway, it’s been a lovely weekend here in Texas (first cool weather of the season). Hope you enjoyed yours too.
It is awesome. We agree on the weather. :0) Not so much on the man. %)
Amen, have a good week.
