Because, like it or no, there is an entire separate sub-culture of black media. Black-centered magazines, black-centered websites, black-centered radio and television shows that are wholly unrelated to the main stream media.

And if Herman Cain wants a snowball's chance in hell of reaching those voters, of giving them a glimpse of something different, he has to appear on them or in them.

It's a smart move, actually. At least they are giving him a chance. In the past, they froze out Keyes completely.

It presents Black America with a choice. Let's see what they do with it. The results coud suprise.
