Majority Expects Obama to Lose Re-election
ABC News ^

By Gary Langer Oct 3, 2011 2:30pm Majority Expects Obama to Lose Re-election

A majority of Americans expect Barack Obama to be a one-term president, an assessment on which, in past elections, the public more often has been right than wrong.

Just 37 percent in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say they expect Obama to win re-election in November 2012; 55 percent instead expect the eventual Republican nominee to win. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos is asking the president about that result in an interview today.

It’s a challenging finding for the president because expectations can fuel voter enthusiasm – precisely the ingredient that led the GOP to its broad success in the 2010 midterms, when charged-up conservatives turned out while dispirited Democrats stayed home.

Democrats do expect Obama to win, but they say so only by 58-33 percent – a comparatively tepid vote of confidence within his own party. Republicans, by contrast, smell victory by a vast 83-13 percent. And independents – the linchpin of national politics – by 54-36 percent expect the Republican candidate to beat Obama.

If he can’t get another four year lease on the White House with his billion dollar campaign “war” chest, he shouldn’t have ever entered politics in the first place. His opponent, whoever it is, won’t even come close to raising that kind of rent money.

I think the majority over-estimates the stupid party.

The stupid party will probably get their troops ready to rig the voting machines like how Pinky was re-elected...

This goes a LONG way to explaining the mass panic we are seeing from the radical left, and the open looting of the Treasury by the Obama cronies.

Obama Fundraising Suffers Huge Drop-off

by Keith Koffler on September 27, 2011, 8:38 am

President Obama will raise substantially less in the second quarter of his campaign than the first, according to the New York Times.

The paper writes that Obama campaign manager Jim Messina has told Democratic officials that the president will raise about $55 million in the quarter that ends Sept. 30, about $30 million less than he raised the first quarter of his campaign – which was the second quarter of the year, ending June 30.

If he should turn his billion dollar war chest into the IRS to help pay the debt.. it’s only fair.

ABC misses on their analysis:

It’s a challenging finding for the president because expectations can fuel voter enthusiasm

This question is significant because some people who will hide how they intend to vote will reveal it in what they thing others will do. You can often get a more accurate result on this question than straight-out asking who they support.

“I think the majority over-estimates the stupid party.”

Right. It ain’t over till it’s over. It’s the economy, stupid party.

[US Census, September 2011 release - per my local newspaper] The medium gross, inflation-adjusted income of American males in 1968 was $32,137. In 2010, it was $32,137.

Are you better off than your parents were?

I will not celebrate until I see that filthy muslin - country wrecking - arrogant - white hating racist - bastard son of a Communist whore, along with his knuckle dragging wife and their scum sucking tribe.... removed from the People’s White House.

THEN, I will smile from ear to ear, poor a glass of chilled Champaign to drink with a large piece of fresh homemade apple pie. AND on that day, I will raise a new American flag 30’ into the air, where she can once again stand proudly for all to see.

BUT, for now, I will have to just feel kinda good about this news. ;>)
