WASHINGTON - New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious guns operation as far back as July of 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress on May 3, 2011

Fast and Furious did not start until AFTER holder became AG. These documents specifically mention Fast and Spurious. No way can he claim they were before his time. Before him, the op was GUNRUNNER. And they already tried that to absolve obegone. Doesn’t work.
You gotta wonder just how far they can go with yet another lie after lie.
Seems like forgetting one point of a meeting ended Scooter Libby in prison, so same standard applies to Holder.
I noticed that, lol. There are a few tiny wrinkles in their defense. They need a little time to scramble and brainstorm! Give them another 12-24 hrs. They can always fall back on, “Upon further reflection....”
I seriously don;t think they HAVE reflections. We need crosses, holy water, silver, garlic, and wooden stakes.
I believe that there is an unwritten “gentlemen’s” agreement between all outgoing and incoming administrations for the incoming administration not to investigate their predecessor. I can easily see this sort of agreement existing as otherwise the incoming administration would have the resources of the entire government on its side, which could really be abused.
Unfortunately for us, this means if we want people held accountable for F&F, we need to make sure it happens now, not after 2012.

I tend to agree with you on his actual capabilities, but they have placed him in a leadership role, at the top of the heap. His intent, along with those pulling his strings, those abetting him, anmd those underneath him in that misbegotten heiarchy, is to detroy our constitutional republic.

Issa is hardly a coward and the leadership and candidates are quite right to leave him to his job. He is doing this by the numbers and when things are done correctly and with care it is far less likely to have gotten it wrong. The results would be more devastating.
