But the ATF lost track of these firearms, and many were allowed to cross into Mexico.

That's a rather generous assumption.

Indeed it is a rather generous assumption. I would simply call it what it is: a lie.

From an earlier Fast and Furious thread:

We need to shoot down this meme whenever it surfaces. This operation was not BOTCHED. It was UNCOVERED.

Until then it went perfectly according to plan. And that plan did not include tracking. What it did anticipate were a few deaths on both side of the border and an easy path to stricter gun control laws - the real goal of Fast and Furious. For Obama and Holder those deaths were just the collateral damage necessary to achieve their goal.

The word now is that the person occupying the highest office of law enforcement in our nation didn’t correctly understand the question during the Congressional hearing.

On the same level as his former boss BJ Clinton, depends on what the meaning of “is” is.

Much of what Eric Holder says about Fast and Furious is said to mislead - or cover.

We're walking into 'scary' ...

since there is no longer a special prosecutor law on the books does this mean that Eric Holder would have to prosecute himself for perjury? Not bloody well likely.

Mexico needs to file charges against Obama and Holder at the International Criminal Court and we’ll see how the libs respond. They after all wanted to prosecute Bush and Cheney for War Crimes in Iraq.

Secondly, the relatives of Alwaki should do the same. File criminal charges against Obama for the assasination of a US citizen without due process in the US courts, as all the libs wanted to give to foreign enemy combatants.

Time to expose all the libs for the frauds that they are.

Attorney General Eric Holder knew about the Fast and Furious gun program as far back as July 2010,

How about "at least as far back as March 2009", unless his Deputy AG David Ogden was sneaking around behind his back on C-SPAN and in Mexico:
