Perry ping
because they are opperating under the delusion that a candidate with no record, no experience, no money, and no organization can beat Romney.
lol
Perry was our only hope the stop Romney.
Liberals will have to go down one at a time. It seems it’s starting with Perry.
Fox News Poll Puts Romney in the Lead
http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/politics/2011/September/Fox-News-Poll-Puts-Romney-in-the-Lead/
“A new Fox News poll puts former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the new frontrunner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.”
The Cain Surge is Good News for Romney
http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2011/10/04/the_cain_surge_is_good_news_for_romney.html
” This is actually Romney’s ideal situation, with underfunded niche candidates fighting for the conservative vote, and his best-funded credible opponent cratering but still taking double digits. Moreover, Cain is clearly more inclined to send his supporters over to Romney than he is to send them over to any other candidate. How do we know? Cain endorsed Romney in 2008, for one (it was the thing to do in those anti-McCain months), and he’s been notably harsher on Perry than he’s been on Romney.”
You know what is said about Perry when he is down, don’t you?

With the playoffs now underway, its like Perry strikes out, and Romney takes first on the walk.
ikes they’re picking our canidate after all. 2012, McCain light
Quick, lets put together a poll that will lead the person answering the poll to chose Romney before Cain gets too much more traction...
The RINOs better find someone else but Romenyfool cause I REFUSE, R-E-F-U-S-E, REFUSE to vote for him. I will not do it and nobody in my family will. He can count about 25 votes around this area GONE, cause we won’t vote for another McCain RINOcrat.
The numbers still make it clear that among all the candidates, no one has an outright majority and the meaning of any “leader” at this point, Perry one week and Romney the next, is, in the absence of any majority, outweighed by the fact that more people are, collectively, in favor of someone other than the “leader”.
I think Romney will not be the beneficiary of a tightening race; that the votes of those who “get out of the race”, whether its Huntsman, Cain, Perry or anyone, will go mostly NOT to Romney - leaving him with the loyal but minority base he has.
That’s just my opinion and watchword - that it is still very early and these early polls have less importance than those who publish them want us to give them.
Perry is the "compassionate conservative" face ala both GW Bushes while Romney is the GOP Liberal face ala Bob Dole/John McCain.
The Conservative base of the GOP is tired of being told to vote for the Democrat Lite business as usual Establishment candidate.
They want real Leadership from the GOP, not empty suit Democrat Lite echos.
