As Doug points out, Romney is stuck at 25%. As people drop out, one of the candidates will consolidate conservative support and hopefully, best him.

It is Cain’s to lose now, and I hope he doesn’t.

But with the primaries moved up, who is going to drop out? Everyone will stay in and go for a "hail mary" until April 1.

That still puts Romney in front.

I like Cain and find him to be a savy candidate. However, we are on a fixed income and I did the math..under his 999 plan our personal income taxes will go UP over 30 dollars a month and toss that in with the 9% national tax on everything we purchase...(gas included?)along with the military cola’s frozen, soc sec hits and I am curious as to his take on that? prescriptions for military retirees also went up the first of Oct. We do pay medicare A and B too.

Sarah will be in mid- to late- next week or the following week at the latest, and then we will see things change. She will not announce before October 11. And no, I haven’t been tipping the brew this early this morning.

It’s October. Palin has not announced she is running and I must therefore work on the assumption that she will not run.

I am now supporting Cain. He is doing better than I expected at this point, and as he gets more attention, I suspect the increase in name recognition will add to his poll numbers.

When Santorum and Bachmann drop out (right after Iowa is my guess), their support will go to Cain. Gingrich and Huntsman’s support will likely go to Romney, and Perry will pick up Johnson’s supporters. Paul will stay to the end.

New Hampshire will be an interesting run. It’s assumed that Romney will win there, in fact, it’s his firewall.

If Cain can survive past New Hampshire, January looks like his chance to make a serious move. South Carolina and Florida are right in his neighborhood and he should be at his best down there.

Is there anyone running, in either party, worthy of standing in the same hall as these men?

Romney has the financial backing of the Mormon church and the Establishment! Let us hope that Mr. Cain will enjoy the financial support of everyone else! I am willing to back him. Please, FReepers, jump on the Cain Train with your wallets full. God is giving us a second chance!

For Cain to win the Primary, he has to make the issue socialized medicine, as in: "Who can you trust to kill Obamacare?

1. Romney, of Romneycare? or

2. Cain, the Hillary Care Slayer.
