Having the most dedicated heterosexual in the white house is not going to make the US electorate any less gay than it already is. There’s no hope for the press and the press, and you can put it in the bank that they want this fight to be the central issue in 2012. The DADT battle is going to be played out in the courts or in congress if it’s not a dead issue anywhere but in the basement of the pentagon. I’m 100000x more worried about the economy and the national debt.

The only way homosexuals can "reproduce" is by recruiting or artificial insemination. People must be enticed to "explore" their homosexuality therefore implying choice.
Examples of recruiting indoctrination are a few pop songs out now. "Born this way", Lady Gaga and "I kissed a girl (and I liked it)" by Katy Perry. The radio station playing at work runs these songs at least 8-10 times a day.

I find it strange that people can be “straight” for decades (with spouses and kids) and then become gay (of course, proving that they were gay all along), but the idea that someone can be gay for some time and then “convert” to a straight lifestyle is totally abhorent to the “gay community.”

Every time we tried to get the DADT issues raised he would cut us off and refused to mention what the homosexual agenda was doing.
However he later did say he has no problem with who married who and then admitted he was liberal on social issues, that was my last time watching or listening to the phony.
DOMA will now be attacked as they will say they can fight and die but cannot be married in their state.

I disagree with Cain on this one...and I manage to piss everybody off with my opinoion it seems.
While many of the flamboyant ‘gay’ people have clearly chosen that lifestyle, I do believe that some people are born gay. As proof of this, I look at people who try to hide it (the actor who played the dad on the Brady bunch for example), and people who try to fight it (gay men who deliberately enter the priesthood as a way to fend off their propensities).
However, having said that, I believe it is abnormal. No different than being born with a heart defect, 11 toes, whatever. And, I believe it is correct to identify it as abnormal, and even try to correct it - no different than treating a person with depression. Certainly, it should not be encouraged, and celebrated.

Even a little superficial thought would show how insane this statement is. Is he the president of everything deplorable in the United States? Is he President of all the rapist, robbers, pedophiles, anarchists, sworn enemies of this country?
We compartmentalize and separate from us the worst in society that we deem unworthy of assimilating. It can be strongly argued that the President doesn't represent that, but repudiates it.
These witches represent the worst of the worst that our society is devolving into. They don't deserve a place at the table. The fact that we've given them a place indicates a grave sickness in our national identity.
Why would the fact that some adult people suffer from same-sex attraction necessarily mean that they were born with it? Your reasoning doesn’t make sense.
There are any number of genetic diseases that kill their victims at a very young age. By your logic those should have disappeared as well. As should conditions like autism, since very few people who suffer from that produce offspring.
Cain is right about this. There are no studies showing a genetic predisposition.
In fact, twins studies show evidence where when seprated at birth, one is gay the other is not.
Gays would love to find the Holy Grail that makes this something they have no control over.
Cain, should follow up and say that being gay is not an easy life style and that for the most part these are troubled people we all know this.
But this will virtually end his campaign because Romney and the others will climb all over him for it, and he will be taken out of text etc.

I agree with you. Arguing that it would have been breed out is also ridiculous. If that were true, there would be no children with cancer or other deadly childhood diseases. Just because you don’t get the gene doesn’t mean you don’t carry it.
Having said that, I very seriously doubt it is 100% genetic. My bet would be for males it is 50% genetic and for females 1%.
