Is CBS News Silencing Fast and Furious Reporter?

Yesterday, CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson told radio show host Laura Ingraham that the White House yelled and swore at her over her reporting on the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal tied to the deaths of two U.S. law enforcement agents. Attkisson also revealed that she'd also been yelled at by the Justice Department.

Today, I called CBS News in an attempt to interview Attkisson. I was told by CBS News senior vice president of communications Sonya McNair that Attkisson would be unavailable for interviews all week. When I asked why Attkisson would be unavailable, McNair would not say.

I've also heard from a producer at another media outlet that has previously booked Attkisson that they tried to book her since she made news with the Laura Ingraham interview yesterday. They were also told that she would be unavailable.

Remember, the Suits (except NBC) do not worship a certain religion or political mindset. They worship the Golden Calf.

I have to disagree with you on that.

We all know that the old networks' news viewership has been declining consistently for decades now. It's pretty obvious that one major factor in that decline is the real left bias in content that causes many to tune them off. I'm sure the suits have long been aware of this dynamic. Yet they have made no perceptible effort to improve their ratings with a more balanced ideological approach. Rather, network news (with the exception of FOX) continues to be a propaganda arm of the left - as Rush Limbaugh says, part of the state controlled media. Since viewership numbers equal cash, one can't honestly say that they are more wedded to the "Golden Calf" than to their leftist political bias.

Bernard Goldberg, a former CBS newsie, has written a few books on the subject, which prove my point.

Yelling is what the WH people did, and often do. Lyndon Johnson would personally yell at Senators, even hit them hard on the arm, slap the back of their heads, etc, to get his way.

On the other hand.... feeling intimidated is the listener's choice. I doubt this reporter is.

My favorite was the time we caught PATCO (the old controller's union) members broadcasting false air traffic commands to airplanes.

A few called and threatened us because “hey, were da union, we knows where youse lives, and we know how to deal wit youse guys.”

We would usually put our driver on the phone with them and the conversation went something like this.

“You know how to “deal with us?” Listen you limp di** moth** fu****, there are 5 of us on the crew, I'm a Teamster, two are NABET, one is IBEW, and the boss is AFTRA, we all know lots of guys, who know guys, who know some nice "family" men whose names end in vowels.... and if we even see your sorry fa**ot asses we will cut off your di**** and shove them down your throats.

You got that, you fa**ot pu**y???

NO ONE ever called back... and by the way, that driver was a 200 pound 5’ 10” woman, straight, lovely, married, all muscles and no fat who wrestled in an minor league pro wrestling circuit on the weekends.

Goes with the turf.... but don't miss the most important point. The fact that the WH is yelling shows how worried they are abort the story... and everything else is raining s**t on them these days.... and it's only going to get much worse for them.
