(CNSNews.com) - Bantering with the audience at a fundraiser in St. Louis yesterday, President Barack Obama bragged about a new regulation, proposed by the Department of Health and Human Services, that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has denounced as an unprecedented attack on religious liberty.
"Darn right!" an audience member at the fundraiser shouted as Obama described the regulation.
Darn tooting! Obama said back.
The proposed regulation, designed to implement part of Obamacare, will require all private health plans in the United States to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives--including those that cause abortionswithout charging any fees or co-pay. These regulations were drawn to implement a provision in Obamas health-care law that calls for all health-care plans to cover preventive services.

He´s religious, you know....
My guess is that most of the bishops will vote for Obama next year. They may disagree with him on abortion and same-sex "marriage" but on the other issues they follow the Democrats' line (illegal aliens, spreading the wealth, anti-war, anti-death penalty, etc.).
The Catholic Conference of Bishops has plainly stated that life issues trump all others,as it should.
If the speech had been after Palin announced she was not running, I would say that he was mocking her.
Regardless, Obama is a creepy little punk.
He laughs about it. Disgusting or obnoxious doesn’t even begin to describe him or his administration.
I’m glad it’s just a guess on your part otherwise I’d be asking for a source.
The Meltdown of Dictator You Lie Obama continues - - - - .
Way too many. They just call themselves Catholics, because their parents were Catholics. They just do whatever they want.
Faithful Catholics never voted for Soetoro.
There is always some outspoken Bishops that will get tons of press for supporting RAT pols and policies, but the Bishops like the vast majority of practicing Catholics will join the rest of the US in getting these Bozo’s out of there.
Pope Benedict XVI on what the principal focus should be for Catholic voters
As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, the principal focus of her interventions in the public arena is the protection and promotion of the dignity of the person, and she is thereby consciously drawing particular attention to principles which are not negotiable, he said.He added:
Among these the following emerge clearly today:
- protection of life in all its stages, from the first moment of conception until natural death;
- recognition and promotion of the natural structure of the family - as a union between a man and a woman based on marriage - and its defence from attempts to make it juridically equivalent to radically different forms of union which in reality harm it and contribute to its destabilization, obscuring its particular character and its irreplaceable social role;
- the protection of the right of parents to educate their children.
This man is EVIL and his followers are VILE and EVIL.
Exit polls are reporting that more weekly churchgoing Catholics voted for John McCain than for President-elect Barack Obama, slightly favoring McCain by 50 percent to 49 percent.
Those who attend Mass on a weekly basis comprised 46 percent of the overall Catholic vote, while 54 percent of Catholics surveyed said they attend less than weekly. Among infrequent Mass goers, Obama was favored 58 to 40 percent.
The fact that practicing Catholics supported McCain over Obama runs contrary to assertions made by Fr. Thomas Reese S.J. and other commentators who used the category of Catholics who attend Mass less than weekly to suggest that the teaching of Catholic bishops was ignored by the faithful.
Overall, Catholics favored Obama 54 to 45 percent, according to an Edison Media Research exit poll conducted for CNA. In 2004 George W. Bush won the Catholic vote over John Kerry, 52 to 47 percent.
McCain also defeated Obama among all Americans who attend church once a week, 55 to 43 percent, compared to Bush's 58 to 41 percent margin over Kerry.
Protestants supported McCain 54 to 45 percent, a lead he extended among weekly church attendees to 66 to 32 percent.
Obama performed well among the 11 percent of people who said they had no religion, winning by a 75 to 23 percent margin.
So Catholics can be forced to go against their religious beliefs by having to support and hand out free contraceptives but muslim murdering pigs can sue to get luxury religious meals prior to execution. I am lost here- anyone doubt it is a muslim now?
Darn tootin’? Is that whitey talk to appeal to the masses?
