I wonder how many times Romney has called Governor Palin since yesterday.
Pass the popcorn, this ought to be good.
LOL! The stupid party strikes again.
I will not vote for Romney. No way. No how. Don’t care what happens to the republicans if they put this liberal up as the nominee. I will not vote for him. End of subject.
The arrogance of these bastards!
Excellent. Let us upset them again like we did in 2010,
Same here. Are there any true conservatives still in MA? Same goes for Perry. How many TX RINOs do we need to bear? Like KA, TX is way overrated.
Media push — BS.
We Need Herman.
Same here. I will, under no circumstances, vote for Romney. If he gets the nomination, I hope Cain runs as third party.
The ‘establishment’ may be...but WE THE PEOPLE are not. We’ve got 11 months until the convention. We’ve got our work cut out for us but this is ours to lose. I choose to WIN.
No. No. No.
And the rest of us will coalesce around Cain and it will be 1976 all over again, with the conservatives against the establishment.
Is that a question? . . . or an assertion?
The Establishment GOP preparing for their next circle jerk session.
Now?
When were they not?
An unacceptable candidate who will not win the general.
Let’s think strategically here.
Assume that Romney wins this thing.
Who would a logical running mate be? The classic formula goes for geographic and political experience diversity, and ideological diversity...ie, how to rally as much of the party/country as possible.
I think we (ie, all conservatives) could push for something that would make the Big Picture much more palatable:
DeMint for VP!
It “could” happen. He’s from the south, and that’s good, even though his state is not that important (it will go GOP). He did endorse Romney back in 08 and to my knowledge, he hasn’t done anything yet in this race. As far as I’m concerned, DeMint is the best conservative operative out there. (I only support financially Club for Growth, DeMint’s PAC, and the NRA).
He’s a Senator, and actually he had a good business career before going into politics.
Yes, the first priority is to nominate a conservative. But, if that fails, we need a back up plan.
I’ve cc’d a few of the brighter lights (in my experience) on this. What do y’all think?
The big question is, who will we conservatives choose as our champion to challenge Romney for every vote. Time is running out. If conservatives remain fractured, Romney will certainly be the nominee and that means 4 more years of Obama.
