Some of my prior snarky posts:

Palin’s self-imposed deadline looms

She’ll run. After all the effort and prep she’d done, of course she will.

She is playing a game of chicken with the GOP. Not only will she have to battle the Dems, she’s got an immediate battle with the establishment GOP on her hands.

They are going to hand us Mitt Romney, just like they did McCain, come hellp or high water... and whether we likeit or not.

Sarah Palin Has Until Late December to Jump In, and Still Win

I’m one of those obnoxious Palinista’s but this article is just stupid.

The author lists the dates of the primarys in each state but fails to mention that there are legal deadlines for filing to get your name on the ballot.

The first is Utah’s = October 14th.

Palin Defends Perry on Social Security

Sarah Palin is running. If any of you are thinking she will be ensorsing Perry, you best find your Plan-B.

CRONY CAPITALISM - THY NAME IS RICK PERRY !

For a few.
I finally came to the conclusion last night that I’d been “had” along with many other Palin supporters.

Getting that Republican President is icing on the cake.

Amen to that and I have a long time to make a decision as to who I support. I know that the GOP is picking a President because Obama cannot cheat enough to win.

LOL.... I don’t need to read Cain’s resume to know that he’s gong to lose.

He’s a nice man that won’t be elected president.

LOL

She gets to go home and love her family. The GOP establishment gets to try to make a success out of what right now is Herman Cain and a mess. The political press has to make the whole thing sound interesting. I know who I think is winning here, and I mean really winning, not just “Hi, I’m Charlie Sheen, and I have no new job to go to but I just did a Tony Montana faceplant in a mound of blow on the way out the door to the TV interview so I’m” winning.

And we need a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate to silence the liberals who will block every effort to undo Obamacare, Dodd/Frank, etc, etc, etc

Not really...a strong majority, populated with true conservatives equipped with enough testicular fortitude, can repeal anything Obamination has signed, using the same reconciliation process the dumbocrats used to pass those items.

Ha! I’m the exact opposite. I still find Palin appearances one of the incredibly few things about the whole dismal political scene that still manages to cheer me up! Of course, I’ve despised the debates, I’ve despised the putrid Rove/Morris type of punditry, I’ve despised the whole repellent, circa-2011 ball of wax, politically speaking. It’s all-out scum city, and I admittedly have little faith this set-up will even allow the possibility of the country being saved if the attempt was even made.

Maybe my disdain for all this reveals a certain strain of flyover-country populism, and it’s in this venue that anti-politician “Citizen Sarah” is just as potent to me now as last week. I’m going to continue following her and supporting her. Sorry you’re unhappy! Really. I’m not being facetious.

Ubama is going to beat whatever RINO the GOP ruling-class appoints,

Only if it's a 3-way race.

Baraq loses any 2-way matchup in a landslide

He only got 53% last time against McLame and having no negatives attached to him at all. Now he's the Captain of the USS Depression.

I often wish, in hindsight, that McCain had taken Lieberman as his running mate. Not because I think Joe is better than Sarah (he’s not!), but because I believe McCain was doomed to defeat no matter what and Palin was irreparably damaged from her association with it.

If I could somehow have a “Do-over” of the 2008 GOP convention, I would have had Palin’s role be that of a keynote-type speaker. She would have been able to introduce herself to America, showing off her potential, while continuing to learn and grow as a governor back home without 24-7 media attacks.

Palin’s strength and ability to lead has never been in doubt in my mind. But I believe her lack of experience in 2008 left her unprepared for the endless partisan attacks from the MSM and the backstabbing from McCain’s own people. True, she came up to speed quickly enough. By election day, she was the one bright spot I saw in an otherwise disastrous campaign. But I still have to wonder what might have happened if Sarah had entered national politics with two full terms of experience as a governor.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to be unpleasant. I just didn’t scroll down far enough through the comments.

I wouldn’t let yourself get too hurt by this. She’s still the best candidate out there, but if she’s decided not to run, then she’s decided not to run. At least, not unless things change again. We’ll have to see what happens next.

But I don’t really see an alternative candidate of her caliber. I like Cain, but I don’t really know what he would do in political office other than what he’s told us, which I’ve learned to be leary of. And he seems to be about the best one left standing.

Wishful thinking for the naysayers, toldyosos and PDSers.

In a week, they'll be begging for us to support their candidate, and begging Palin to endorse their candidate.

“I don’t think any of the others are up to the job.”

I agree. There is No Way Mitt would roll back Obamacare, or stop the spending. Perry might try, but by the time Boehner and McConnell clued him into “how the game is played in DC” I would be surprised if he could accomplish much. The only way the “gravy train” slows down is more Tea Party Conservatives getting elected to the House and Senate who will have the nerve put the Country above politics.
