Agreed about A-Rod!!!

But from what I hear there are a lot of road closures around the stadium Saturday that will make attendance a nightmare.

Go early!! Tailgate!!

Just goes to show you that all the money in the world can’t buy you a championship if all your star players come up small in big situations.

Actually, I believe A-Wod was originally acquired in a trade in exchange for another wiffer, Alphonse Soriano.

That said, the two Yankees who performed the worse in this series were A-Rod and Tex, two of their costliest players. The Yankees should have let A-Rod walk several years ago when they had a chance.

They have a better chance playing their own homegrown talent.

LAWL!!! I called my dad when I heard the news and said I want it to be the Rangers vs. White Sox in 2012 ALCS. And in Game 7 it comes down to Ryan vs. Ventura Match 2!

Rodriguez admits to using steroids

NEW YORK (SI.com) — Alex Rodriguez has admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs from 2001-2003, ESPN is reporting.

Those were the first three seasons of Rodriguez’s then-record 10-year, $252 million contract with the Texas Rangers. Rodriguez won his first AL MVP award in ‘03, his last year with the Rangers, before being traded to the Yankees prior to the start of the 2004 season.

On Saturday, Sports Illustrated broke the news that Rodriguez had tested positive for two anabolic steroids in 2003. When reached for comment at a Miami gym last Thursday, Rodriguez told an SI reporter “You’ll have to talk to the union” and “I’m not saying anything.”

They could win a million of them and how much money does that put in your pocket?

The yankees are the most loathed team in all sports. Never could understand why they would choose the name of the bad guys in the War of Northern Agression.

Anybody that beats the Yankees is my favorite team. Being surrounded by Newyoricans, it’ll be fun to go buy another Tigers hat tomorrow and then wear it around town for the next few weeks.

Yanks probably have a better percentage of winning pennants than they do ALDS, which tends to even out disparately paid/talented teams.

Being in MA, I’m more a yank fan than sox, mostly because I consider the sox a liberal team and the yanks the conservative team.
