When you watch the video it’s easy to see the Mitt supporters, they sat on their hands when Perry mentioned he defunded planned parenthood in Texas.

Then all the standing Os for Perry must have really gotten old for them. LOL.

Contrast Rick Perry's statements in the speech about the role of government, with what Herman Cain told John Stossel about his view of the role of government:

******************************************************

Herman Cain: “The role of government, in my view, is to maintain an equal balanced playing field for the citizens and for our society. Not to throw it out of balance.”

3:30 into discussion: Herman Cain on John Stossel Show, Fox News

Take a look at all that our State has done to secure the border and fight immigration: http://wingright.org/2011/10/05/rick-perrys-record-on-border-security/

Where on earth did you get the idea that the Governor has not asked for troops, over and over?

I thought it was rather telling! Just like it's rather telling that people can scroll right past all your posts on the thing things that Perry has actually done, with photos as proof and still claim the things they are claiming.

I'm also stunned to see someone who I know fought like crazy against McCain suddenly on the side of the man who is worse then McCain. That's rather shocking too.

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.” How do you translate that?

Take a look at all that our State has done to secure the border and fight immigration: http://wingright.org/2011/10/05/rick-perrys-record-on-border-security/

The Governor has fought to secure the border, he has fought to get the Federal government to deport illegals, stop bringing illegal aliens from other States to our State, to stop dismissing 100’s of thousands of deportation hearing they’ve set up in our Federal Courts in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, etc.

The Rick Perry - ACORN connection explained: A primer for non-Texans ......."Their situation caused such outrage that the Texas Legislature took it up during the next session and passed Senate Bill 198, which Governor Perry signed into law on June 13, 2001. It gave homeowners a 60 day window to cure any defaults, required greater transparency prior to purchase, required insurance for the home, and required a check list of assurances that the home had no outstanding liens and was in working order.

In 2005, the Texas State Legislature passed HB 1823, which allowed people with a Contract for Deed to refinance their mortgage and convert the Contract for Deed to a Deed of Trust. They were then able to get out from under the terms of the contract, transfer title to their name, and assume full responsibility for their property and their lives. There were a number of steps homeowners had to take to comply with the law, and they were obviously responsible to pay the mortgage, but it gave homeowners greater power over their property."........

This is what Dr. Wheeler said about Cain, yesterday: Will it be show time for Cain? Will one of his competitors ask him about the fatal flaw in his 9-9-9 tax reform plan? As Erik Erickson asks it:

"Given the Republican Party has a unparalleled history of being unable or unwilling to truly scale back the size and scope of the federal government and its creeping socialism, do we really want the Republican Party to be the party to introduce a national sales tax or VAT tax without first repealing the income tax?"

There's also the question of to what extent Cain is a jerk. He certainly is one towards Perry for whom he expresses a personal animus. He refuses to apologize for implying that Perry was somehow "insensitive" regarding the Niggerhead Rock smear, and told Hugh Hewitt on Wednesday (10/05) that:

"If it's one of those other candidates up there (who gets the nomination instead of him), I am going to support them 100%. If Governor Perry gets the nomination, I will still support him, but it won't be 100%."

Sorry, but this is simply being a jerk. Perry wants to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments, and drastically reduce the size and power of the federal government via the 10th Amendment, while Romney as an establishment RINO will do none of this. But Cain could get behind the RINO and not the 10th Amendment guy?

His argument is particularly pathetic, misconstruing Perry's stand on illegal immigration. The hypocrisy is glaring, for, as the regional manager of hundreds of Burger Kings and CEO of Godfather's Pizza, he employed hundreds if not thousands of illegals. Has anyone ever asked him what actions he took to ensure the businesses he ran hired no illegals?

There's a lot to like in Herman Cain but there's a lot to give one pause as well.

Perry speaks out of both sides of his mouth in order to preserve his globalist intentions. You can frame his actions to “secure” the border but his motives are not for the nation, rather to continue to attract foreign investors and companies while seemingly opposing illegal immigration, and yet his actions show differently. His intentions are to "control" the border by "securing" safety for his globalist agenda.

Many of us have looked at both sides of Perry, but the facts are there he is a globalist and promotes this in Texas, and will surely bring that agenda to the Presidency if he wins.

You supporters of Perry are quick to post favorable links but fail to provide the details if or not his work to secure’ the border were successful. Obvious to all they are not as illegal immigration has esculated during his governing time thus far.... and further there is now a drug war on our border for his NOT taking matters into hand when he could have....instead he remained supportive of making the border with Mexico a community all it's own and implemented any and all policies with Mexico to make that happen....His agenda has not changed...though he is going to frame his work favorable now he's running for Pres.

The problem is Perry's coddling to illegal immigration which has created the problem he has and now begs for troops to resolve.

Furthermore any time troops have been brought to the border as soon as they leave it goes back to business as normal. Thus putting our young men and woman in harms way for something which will not stop the immigration issues until Perry himself stops encouraging and enabling that to happen. He wants it both ways.....to continue his Globalist agenda for his state and yet "secure" the environment for that to prosper. That is not 'closing" the border nro will it clean up the trash happening there.

You know securing the border is a federal task..
We have tried..We detain..Obama suspended deportations.
Perry asked for more help to secure the border..Obama declined.
Support your candidate vigorously but let’s be honest about our reasons

I won’t bore you with links or details as you have seen and rejected them.

Provably false. He supports doing both. He has asked Obama for troops, and says he will put them there himself if elected. Like I posted earlier, the truth will shine through the lies. Not what you wanted when you falsely post that he is a left winger, and my post subsequent shows that designation is laughably false, as well. In place of the refused troops from Obama, he is utilizing a Texas Ranger force on the border. They are limited by law as to what they can do, but up to the limits of the law they are as active as can be right now.

That's good that you don't because contrary to Perry stating the Government hasn't sent troops and money is just not true. May of 2010 money in millions and troops were sent. And even prior to that. The problem is Perry not the government. He needs to stop cowtowing to the Mexican leader and do what needs doing of. He is not co-operating by encouraging and enabling illegal entry by refusing to fence the entire border. Rather his agenda is to secure the areas where his coperations are and that of foreign investors so that he might continue his globalist agenda. That is not securing the border for the good of the entire nation...rather to continue his agenda and that of the Mexican leaders he is in cohoots with.
