CIA Contractor Arrested In Parking Lot Fight

Raymond Davis, who was charged with killing two men in Pakistan as a CIA contractor but was later released, was arrested Saturday after a fistfight at a shopping center in Colorado, authorities said. Davis was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct after allegedly getting into a fight over a parking space at a suburban Denver mall, according to Lt. Glenn Peitzmeier of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. The incident at the Highlands Ranch Town Center began as an argument between 37-year-old Davis and 50-year-old Jeff Maes and then turned physical, Peitzmeier said. Davis was released after posting $1,750 bond, Peitzmeier said. Davis' wife, Rebecca, declined a CNN request for comment. Davis was charged with killing two men in Lahore, Pakistan, in January. He was released in March after compensation was paid to their families. U.S. officials originally said Davis was a diplomat and tried to claim diplomatic immunity but then revealed that he was a CIA contractor. Davis said he killed the two men in self-defense, though Lahore authorities called the case "clear-cut murder."

What sort of adult gets into a fight over parking spaces? Just find a non-contested space and walk a little farther to the entrance for crying out loud.

NYCPD cops among others, it seems:

Agreed, he shouldn’t be working in any kind of sensitive position. Given what he’s been through you have to wonder about PTSD.

You ever hear of a fella named Tony Poe?

I assume typical misreportage, so I saw the IR as a misreported IR laser designator or such, used in conjunction with the NV monocular he had. I only saw the complete, detailed list one time.

Standard gear for contractors....... (trust me ;o).

E&E kits can go from small “capsule” that’s greased all the way to every day carry gear carried by Davis.

E&E IMO is skill sets vs gear carried ..... Stuff he had was EDC crap.

Ya’ll Stay Safe !

The IR Phoenix Jr’s have such coding sets for IFF... still have a few. Nothing more than a 9v battery top item encapsulated in a waterproof clear housing that needs a jumper or paper clip to set code.

NSN: 5855-01-438-4588 is on mine !

Stay safe !

Sounds real similar to the *firefly* I've got. But mine's sterile.

They are awesome......

Had same gadgets when active duty but good markers in peace time as well. I keep a few in my personal survival kit (PSK) along with a greatland laser flare and the ACR Military issue strobes. Good simple reliable tools for signaling to searchers on the ground and air.

Stay safe Archy !

This guy is definitely a loose cannon. We don’t need someone witmentth his lack of self-control employed by the US. What sort of adult gets into a fight over parking spaces?

The kind that we send overseas as a singleton in a covert op.
