Occupy Wall Street is A Fraud

This was a fantastic piece in the Wall Street Journal by Randy Noonan. Personally, I have a lot in common with the fictitious Moe. Even went to junior college.

Obama and the Democrats want to tax the crap out of Moe. But, they say they only want to get the rich fat cats. It’s total class warfare. Don’t fall for it.

Moe is what’s right about America. He worked, lived his life, took some risk and made some decent money. He could be any color and anyone under the sun that was fortunate to be born here.

That’s what Obama never gets. He is so out of touch with normal America. He doesn’t even know what it’s like to swim in the mainstream.

Yesterday I was walking down the street in Chicago. By chance, I saw a big 6’5? black guy that looked familiar. “Rodney”, I yelled. He stopped, looked at me and smiled. We haven’t seen each other since 1982. We played basketball together for a couple of years.

He was walking home from work. We embraced, and chatted for 10-15 minutes. Rodney still looks like he could play, but we laughed since both of our 49 year old bodies are so beat up we can only watch now!

It was fantastic catching up with him. Rodney’s married and has two kids. Both finished college. He has the American dream. House, yard, cars and a decent paying job.

Rodney and me are both Moe. So are you.

Contrast that with Occupy Wall Street.

In the beginning, there were a bunch of so called radicals protesting Wall Street bailouts.

I was cynical. Then I saw their demands. Then I called them out. Many on the left side of the business blogging community gave OWS the benefit of the doubt.

Once I saw Van Jones and the Unions involved, I knew it was straight Obama Astroturf designed to try and siphon off members from the Tea Party.

Now, the real evidence leaks form the Daily Caller. They are paying many of the protestors to protest.

A liberal organizer told the Daily Caller on Thursday afternoon that he paid some Hispanics to attend “Occupy DC” protests happening in the nation’s capital.

TheDC attended the protest event, an expansion of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began in New York City. Some aspects of the protest, it turned out, are more Astroturf than grassroots.

One group of about ten Hispanic protesters marched behind a Caucasian individual from the , a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting rent control in Washington, D.C.

Asked why they were there, some Hispanic protesters holding up English protest signs could not articulate what their signs said.

Interviewed in Spanish, the protesters told conflicting stories about how their group was organized. Some said it was organized at their church, and that they were there as volunteers. Others, however, referred to the man from the DC Tenants Advocacy Coalition — the only Caucasian in the group — as their “boss.”

“Some of them are volunteers. Some of them aren’t,” he explained. “I can’t identify them. I’m not going to get into an identification game.”

No one ever paid Tea Party people. It actually cost a lot of them more than a day’s pay to go and march.

It’s a true grassroots movement.

The left can only manufacture outrage. And to manufacture it, they have to outsource.

No one listens to them on radio, and no one watches them on television. As a viral Facebook photo quotes, “If I had a dollar for every time that capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I’d be a fat filmaker with a baseball cap.”

If I understand it correctly, the stimulus money from 2009 was not all spent, and a lot of it was set aside for future years, like the campaigning years, when that unspent money would be used to “stimulate” protests in favor of Obama and democrats, and against republicans and the “always evil” GOP and Wall Street and capitalism.

Obama is nothing more than a Marxist, and now he’s using the tactics despotic regimes in trying to convince the people that, what’s wrong with America is what created the greatest economy and country ever, that being, capitalism.

If the money for the “occupy” movement could be traced to its source, very likely we’d find it to be the unspent “stimulus” money which had been set aside for the re-election campaigns for Obama and democrats.

THIS is the truth of it all. The ‘GREED’ is not on the part of ‘Wall Street’ so much, it’s the POLITICIANS and union thugs who are inciting all this.

I think I know were this comes from. The other day a chatter friend of mine posted many pictures of the protesters in the chat room we both go to and there were either no blacks at all, or only one. Some of the left wing lunatics in the room probably went to DU and suggested to get blacks involved

They apparently have some fantasy that they’re going to overthrow the government like Egypt and that requires the military to take their side.

They ignore the fact that our military is in a whole different place, both structurally and ideologically.

What is so pathetic is that the media will not point out the simple fact that they support the president that bailed out the banks they are protesting!

The stupidity is unreal, but like the president’s lie about the progressive tax not existing, media compliance covers a multitude of sins in this messed up world.

Isn't it interesting that this OWS movement began when Obama has lost his touch with the base he counted on. Odumbo's campaigning is going sour. The crowds have dwindled, his donations are down, the deep pocket businesses aren't contributing, the adoration has almost disappeared, etc., etc. It is interesting that most of the protesters don't even know why they are there, but the Dem leaders seem to understand the message that the protesters can't even verbalize.

And Pelosi and other Dems are supporting this movement by saying that they are "admirable" rather than condemning them as they did with the TEA party protesters. And, Pelosi...is not "afraid," nor is she calling the protesters "unpatriotic Americans." The word is out in the Dem Party...this has been a major ploy to help Obama. And Obama is not hiding from this event and even acknowledges that these crowds are there. Unlike when he did not even recognize the multitudes in DC for Glen Beck's civilized and orderly rally.

And, the liberal media is participating as directed and constantly giving us arial shots of the crowds on TV and expanding the numbers in attendance, and publicizing all the other locations across the country where this is going to erupt.

It is just amazing, isn't it?

/sarc

So we wonder who, why, what got this all started??? LOL. Not such a hard question to answer.

What a crime that gullible Americans are being used in such a manner by the frightened Dem leaders and anti-capitalism, America hating, power hungry, class warfare loving, cronies of Obama. It is the old tactic of firing up the emotions of anger and hatred in people...making a crazed pack out of people who have no idea how they have been duped or are being manipulated by Obama's string pullers.

Or, what a stroke of genius. Obama wasn't having any luck like in the 2008 campaign and so his handlers had to fire up the base somehow. They saw the success of the TEA party rallies...so this is their attempt at cashing in on the same, calling it a "grass roots" movement. HA! It is all part of the Dem's desperate attempt/plan to turn Americans back into bowing to Obama like the good little sheeple they were before.

Just wait, Obama will make some grand gesture to be sympathetic and appease them. He will either go speak to them or tape a special Presidential message for them, telling them he is in their corner, promising them "change," or some other hype, blah, blah, blah. Obama will become their "savior" again. And they will let it happen. Of course, in just enough time to bring the movement and the frenzied people back into his camp and to the polls to vote for him.

There are a few good things that can be said about Romney.

For instance, he’s not Obama.

And ...
