What a bad flashback. Molly Ivins was a real POS.

Exactly! Cain would be great, Perry acceptable and hopefully a true states rights federalist. Even if (God forbid) Romney becomes president, he'll be kept in check by a conservative Congress and by conservative State legislatures. Mitt wouldn't have the guts to advance dumb programs or to veto major permanent tax cuts proposed by Congress.

The 2010 midterms were just the beginning. The Lamestream media are running scared, and now Sarah doesn't have to worry about defending her positions, she's free to unload on them and their blatant bias.

I’ve missed nothing. Your support of liberal Rick Perry is completely transparent as is your desperation in knowing he has less chance of becoming the Republican nominee with each passing day.

Right. Wishful thinking from the Slimes. The Silent Majority will be there when there's a "there" there.

lol! Do I really need to explain this to you? Really?

Firstly, I know you did not 'write the article'. But you posted it because you like what it said. Example" In this race, Rick Perry is the Tea Party’s dream candidate, the one remaining figure who could translate a noisy backlash into serious power. If Rick Perry loses, the Tea Party will have missed the opportunity of a lifetime.

That is garbage and it is a pro-Perry puff piece that YOU posted because YOU agreed with its message.

Get it yet? Of course you do.

Ron Paul invented the tea party.

...and Santa Claus invented Christmas.

In a nutshell: if Romney wins, Tea Party goals are toast.

That's only true if Republicans who win Congressional seats are moderates and RINOS. I don't see that happening in all places. Even though the Tea Party hasn't had any large scale gatherings, there are still Tea Partiers working at state levels for candidates who meet their smaller government, less spending criteria.

The TEA Party better not be “over”. I just gave them 50 bucks the other day. Still not answering the phone when the GOP calls.

The tea party is dormant and ineffective right now.

How peculiar. Who do you think is casting winning votes for Cain in organized straw votes every week or so? Who do you think is showing up to protest Obama's appearances when he is out selling his BS? What else do you expect people to do right now?

As for the OWSers, I say let them have all the air time they want. The more they show of themselves the less cred they will have. Remember, the far left is a tiny sliver of the electorate, and the media is in the bag for them already anyway. But the mainstream of the country is as always, ceneter-right, and the Tea Party is right there.

So the NYT is doing a Perry puff piece for its liberal readers, huh? A puff piece that reminds them how awful presidents from Texas have been? Good thinkin’ there, South. You are in such denial about these primaries you cannot see straight.

12/16/2007 - Rand Paul at Faneuil Hall Boston.

Limited Constitutional Government.

Don’t Tread on Me Flags.

Tri Corner Hats.

And it was actually called Tea Party.
