Democrats Seek to Own 'Occupy Wall Street' Movement
ABC ^

Posted on 10/09/2011 10:35:27 PM PDT by Borough Park

Occupation can lead to ownership, whether or not you want it.

The spread of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement was met with initial hesitation in both the Democratic and Republican parties. That might be an appropriate response to any protests that aim themselves squarely at the establishment, particularly those with goals that are diverse and diffuse as the current protesters' are.

But a consensus is emerging among Democrats that the "Occupy" movement is worth tapping into, even helping along and joining with in some instances.

"I support the message to the establishment," House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said on ABC's "This Week." "Change has to happen. We cannot continue in a way that does not -- that is not relevant to their lives. People are angry."

Judging by their gear and their apparent lack of preparation; I wonder how long they will last when the cold and wet weather sets in. Of course they will probably just occupy some building owned by a capitalist sympathizer (read useful idiot).
Here’s hoping for an early severe blizzard in NYC.
Let them all die alone in the dark and the cold.

Fools. The Democrats are being played — that is the rank-and -file are — as chumps. The “Occupy” Movement is just so much cannon fodder to stir up domestic trouble, to create national “emergency,” so as to allow the REAL powers-that-be (Obama, Van Jones, Union Bosses, Leftist Media Elite, George Soros, etc...) use them as an excuse to seize power, perhaps even “postpone elections,” and suspend the Constitution. And those Democrats in Congress either don’t SEE that this would make them irrelavent, or they don’t care that it would. Fools — or bought and paid for. Either way, America loses.

Yeah.

We need Democrats out there cheering on the rabble.

It’s the only way they can win in 2012. :)

"Democrats Seek to Own 'Occupy Wall Street' Movement"

"CONTAMINATE Wall Street Movement" would be more appropriate. Smelly left-wing b*st*rds.

Be careful what you wish for, Democrats—people see what you’re tying yourselves to, and lifetime Democrats or not, they won’t vote for someone who supports **THAT**.

Side by side photos of the Tea Party rallies and these cretins would be effective!

Nancy said yesterday in response that the Tea Party spit on members of Congress.
To my knowledge there was NEVER any proof of that.
There is no comparison of this group of misfits to the Tea Party.
The tea party was and is peaceful and never made the mess this bunch is making.
Yes they are owned 100% by the RAT Party. . .

This is a practice run for the mobs that will be unleashed on us troughout the nation next summer.

The RNC convention will be in Tamppa next year.
This is what the people of Tampa can expect.

This is just hoopla. The Democrats are behind all of this trying to make it sound like they have a message.

Something just has to have been placed in their skulls full of mush when they first go to the liberal university.

Intelligence is irrelevant.
Reason is futile.

Most of the punks will be from outside Tampa.

Just remember the sage advice from the Ramones:

Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
With a baseball bat
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.

Guess you could call the occupiers a Rebellion of the Consensus, but that is not really saying much considering the kind of minds that are agreeing to that consensus. Now the Romans had a most accurate and descriptive term to describe these groups. Barbarians was perhaps a little bit too harsh, but judging by some of the pictures coming out of camp de occupied, it is quite fitting. Now we could modernize the description and just say they are Borgs Gone Wild. They will only get real dangerous if some Queen Borg unites them all. Because together they are powerful. Together their are Legion. Blah. Blah. Blah.
