Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) says he is “leaning towards” calling for the White House to appoint a special counsel to investigate Attorney General Eric Holder in the Fast and Furious gun-running operation, but wants to hold a meeting of the entire Arizona delegation first.

McCain told Fox News’ Greta van Susteren that if he were to call for a special counsel, he would do it along with a unified Arizona congressional delegation.

“We are leaning towards it, but I want to talk with the whole delegation and act as a unified delegation. We all represent the state of Arizona where a lot of this happened,”

...Earlier this week, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, called on the White House to appoint a special counsel to investigate whether Holder lied to Congress.

I agree, McLame smells blood in the air and is worried it is coming from his own hands.

McLame should watch the video at Zombies Do Atlanta to learn how a consensus is really built. Be sure to wave your fingers in the air!

I’m sure Raul Grijalva will approve,

Not from AZ -- from quick search, sounds like Grijalva is up for reelection.

Arizona’s GOP District One Congressman Paul Gosar has taken a lead role in exposing the scandal.

We’re still waiting to hear from CD 7 Democrat Raul Grijalva in whose district the murder of Agent Terry occurred. link

Let's export McCain to Mexico where the Narco gangs can kidnap “El Supremo Bloviatorus” for ransom. This is a test to see whether anyone wants him back. My gut says the majority would say, “No.” Sorry, babe, you lose. The other question is why the Narcu gangs would want this doddering gasbag in the first place?

Lots of things going on in Arizona.

Also from AZ,

Dennis Burke, AZ US Attorney forced to resign scandal, cover-up

U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke has submitted his letter of resignation —effective immediately. His resignation comes amid fallout of his knowledge of the ill-conceived and reckless operation that left Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry dead in a gun battle near Rio Rico, Arizona. Terry’s murder effectively ended the scheme.

Burke an attentive student of and longtime aide to Janet Napolitano, previously served as her Chief of Staff and was appointed to the Arizona U.S. Attorney post by Napolitano’s boss, Barack Obama.

I know that if alive today his father would not be proud of Johnny boy. What a bitter disappointment he turned out to be. From hero to hump!

McStain’s cheese has slipped off the plate. Time for him to go sit on the porch.
