Sweetie, I’ve been posting why Perry is better than Cain for a week. What do you want to know? Perry has successfully run an ECONOMY. Perry has created more jobs in his economy than almost all the other states COMBINED. Cain has run a successful BUSINESS. He also served on the board of a company that perpetuated the exact same crime against its employees as ENRON (he left that one off his resume, but if he lasts much longer in the polls, you can bet it’ll be everywhere). That company’s name was Aquila, by the way. Perry has ALWAYS been pro life. Cain has waffled. Texas is a leader in energy production in the US. Perry has extensive experience working with the oil and gas and wind energy industries. One of his campaign pillars is making America energy independent. He knows how to do this. He will mine Sarah Palin for help in this, and he WILL get it done. Once we are energy independent, so many of our issues in foreign affairs will GO AWAY. Energy independence will also create a massive amount of jobs immediately. This is one part of Perry’s jobs plan. Herman Cain is a novice. He might have similar hopes, but has no experience and no plan to make it happen. Cain doesn’t have a jobs plan. He has a NEW TAX plan that hurts the middle class with its national sales tax (on top of state sales tax). His plan also creates a new entitlement system, or “empowerment zones.” I’ll stop at this, but let me know when you want to know another string of reasons why Perry is better for us than Cain. The list is long.
2) Aquila=lib talking points. Mother Jones? Really? Nice job tipping your hand, though.
3) Show me where Cain has waffled on pro-life. Supporting Al Gore, perhaps? Wait.....
4) Cain has the exact same energy plan as Palin. Do you really think he won't access her? That's why Palin waited until Perry sank like a rock and Cain won a major straw poll in a major swing state to announce she wasn't running. Sure.
5) His NEW TAX plan is a JOBS plan and it will benefit the VAST majority of people who earn a living in this country not to mention stimulating business and economic activity through the elimination of estate and capital gains taxes. Yes it might cost THOSE WHO DON'T PAY FEDERAL TAX a bit but isn't one of our problems that not everyone pulls their weight? Perry seems to prefer the status quo on taxes when he's not spending the money on illegals.
6) Empowerment zones aren't a new entitlement, they are tax breaks designed to stimulate economic activity in blighted areas to get people OFF WELFARE!
