Occupy L.A. Speaker: Violence will be Necessary to Achieve Our Goals
Pajamas Media ^ | 10/11/2011 | Zombie

"Citizen journalist Ringo captured this speaker at the Occupy Los Angeles camp a few days ago letting the cat out of the bag: After dismissing nonviolence as a dead end, he admits that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

Here’s a transcript, starting at 32 seconds into the video:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeosie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Crowd: [Cheers.]

...”They are against war, but they want one? Not wise”...

Their thinking is drug infested..Drugs effect the frontal lobes of the brain and judgment is the first thing to go. Unfortunately, some of the media are giving these druggies credibility when they simply want to wreck and destroy for the fun of it because they are rich and bored. And, if any of us think they would not revel in murder if they could pull it off, go think again..These types are self-absorbed to the max and care only for entertainment and titillation.

Agreed.

Don’t take everything so seriously. While I would love to eradicate the disease of liberalism/progressivism from this nation, I would never seriously advocate killing millions of innocent people to accomplish that goal.

Only liberals, socialists, communists, fascists, and marxists commit mass murder in the quest to realize their utopian ideals.

(You know, people like Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Che, etc. Those 5 people are responsible for the annialation and murder of over 100 million people in their quest to create a utopian world. The number of people they murdered is probably much higher than that, but liberals don’t keep accurate records of their atrocities.)

These guys praise the French Revolution but, like the Russian and Chinese Revolutions, most of those that “made the Revolution” were killed in the infighting at the top, not even by the Enemies of the Revolution. Napoleon won out in France, Stalin in Russia. If they set up the guillotines most of own their heads will be taken off by those engines. They are the college grads and high IQ sons of the elite but they cannot learn from history and they cannot learn from reality. Most of them really are high IQ and I have come to believe that high IQ is detrimental to the survival of a society. It is an evolutionary contra-indication as it were.

It would not be pretty. Civil wars are always harder and more bloody than the proponents expect.

I'm with you. I'm not at all confident conservatives could win. How old are most of us now, 50? 60? 70? We can scoff at libs because they don't generally know how to shoot and don't own guns, but how long does it take to make a soldier? Ten weeks of basic and six or so of AIT.

I'm afraid us old timers probably wouldn't do very well against an army of young commies who were motivated by a raging hatred of everything conservative, no matter how confident we are now that we could put a whuppin' on them.

Furthermore, the longer the fight lasted the worse it'd be for us: They'd be getting experience while we'd just be getting older.

Our only hope would be our warriors who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. But if the armed forces came down on the side of some hypothetical socialist president, it'd be a rough road for them. Nope, I do not want to see such a conflict.

Lots of trash talk. With the first round fired downrange from the Conservative defense forces, these flea-infested rodents will scatter in abject terror. But if they really want to take it to that level, I say BRING IT.

Forgetting of course that the French Revolution's most violent leader, Robespierre went under the guillotine himself at the end.

Then of course came Napoleon.

So you want to attack a bunch a rich people, steal all their possessions, burn their houses down and kill all their family members just so you can support the noble cause of socialism.

Dude, get a life. Preferably one of your own. Nothing is worth those crimes.

Good idea. But I can do this cheaper, easier and faster.

Cull the herd. Take their leadership and beat the snot out of them. Then send t hem back to the protesters. It will end within the week.

Google “Greensboro Massacre”.

This happened in late 1979 in Greensboro NC. Five communists were killed and several wounded by Klansmen following a “Death to the Klan” rally by the former, all this was about a screening of the 1915 film “Birth of a Nation”. The Klansmen were all acquitted and this is the Left’s version of the Boston Massacre.

So there already exists deadly precedent that if the Left calls for violence against its enemies, there might be response in kind (not defending the Klan, BTW).

Just sayin’.

I don't advocate violence either (although the other side clearly does - as Ayers and his crowd exemplified many years ago). On the other hand, I came from a family in which my father didn't finish high school and I have worked very hard for many years of my life, spent many a sleepless night, and have given up plenty to achieve what I have, and to build something to pass on to my child. When scum like the idiot socialist wannabe speaker try to label me, and threaten to take away what I've sacrificed for, I will do whatever it takes to protect what is mine, and I will make any sacrifice. Life without liberty and self-determination is not really life.

“Our only hope would be our warriors who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

I understand your concerns and your points, but I don't agree. Just look around at kids in grade school, high school, college. They have so much ‘stuff’, and their approach to life is anything but ‘socialist revolutionary’. They want to download off of iTunes, not sleep in tents and destroy corporations like Apple. When they get a good whiff of what the socialist morons are selling, they won't want it. Revolutions only work when there is a permanent and large underclass with no hope of upward mobility, like in an old European monarchy. The Ayers and Obamas of the world understand this, which is why they push policies that target the middle class and promote polarization. Won't work.

” Most large city police organizations would swing left, and probably most military officers and support MOS enlisted personnel.”

Think again.

In the last poll of military officers, 90% identified themselves as Republicans or conservatives.

You also might want to run over to Second City Cop and read. If that doesn’t disabuse your wrong-headed opinion, nothing will.

Your assessment is correct. On another thread there was a photo of a girl who got her trust fund at 21 and said she was one of the 1% standing with the 99%. Well, if these folks ver turn violent, she’ll be killed in round 2 so they can have her money.

You might have a “master’s degree” be we conservatives have all of the guns and ammo. Most are veterans.

This "we have all the guns" thinking keeps getting repeated, and it's not true. While many effete college agitators may have never held a gun, they also have various inner-city gangs and union thugs who are VERY familiar with guns. Also, keep in mind the Madison, WI protests where many of the unionized police sided with the protestors.

If they are talking revolution, it means that they are confident that they will have enough force to carry it out.

It might not even be a revolution they're thinking of, but a coup by Obama where he declares that, due to "civil unrest" on election day preventing many from getting to the polls, that election results cannot be considered valid.

This is exactly what the "homoizing" of the military is intended to "fix".

“Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us.”

Now there's a catchy phrase, a great metaphor that will surely rally the downtrodden masses and echo throughout history as the rallying cry that brought down the Capitalist house of cards.

“Don't be misled by the TUMOR!”

“Ghandi is a TUMOR!”

“Death to the TUMOR!”
