The problem with a number of high-IQ individuals is that they can succumb to hubris, the arrogance of thinking that their intelligence enables them to plan for "the masses". Thomas Sowell, in "A Conflict of Visions: Ideological Origins of Political Struggles", writes a lot about this tendency.
The tendency seems particularly present in what I call "the articulate class", the group of people whose particular kind of intelligence gives them an advantage in argumentation, but not necessarily in actually getting things done. This group tends to gravitate towards academia, "policy think tanks", and other areas where they can get ahead by verbalizing plausible theories without any need for those theories producing concrete results.
In the real world, people with real intelligence soon realize that it's very hard to do planning for people who have their own agendas and goals, and who have better access to the low-level data. The downfall of the "planning class" is that they are dependent upon others for data for their plans, and it's effectively impossible to "plan" a complex system containing independent actors.
At the end of the day law enforcement and military commands would splinter, just as they did in Spain in 1936, Romania in 1989 and the Soviet Union in 1991. I will take my data from significant historical examples over individual polls or blog assertions. Most civil wars are protracted, close run things with divisions that cut all the way down into nuclear families. If alleged “lawful authority” sides with mobs like we are seeing today, no military or law enforcement entity will be wholly reliable for -either- side, and some will really struggle as to what their oaths require of them.

I think we would. I just don’t think it would be easyor cheap, and I am not sure what would be left. Some fights just have to be fought though.
I’m on record here on this. We’re getting set up for riots later. The powers that be seem to think chaos will help them. Then again, they might just be willing to let us slide right into a civil war.
And who do you think would be the first to be “fragged” in a conflict?
The real soldiers know who is who and who to trust. If there are overt faggots in the ranks, the ‘men’ know who they are.
Sleepers like Major Nidal Malik Hasan or PFC Bradley Manning or quislings like Lieutenant John Forbes Kerry or “law enforcement” personnel like Agent Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi or Sheriff Clarence William Dupnik may be more significant.
How long would it be before a conservative was arrested if he publicly called for a revolution?
These guys will not win a violent confrontation. For the most part they don’t own guns and they can’t learn how to build a bomb by watching “Dancing With The Fat Asses Nancy Grace and Chaz Bono”.
