Nice folks, but their theology is NOT Biblical.
Christianity is unique among religions in that it rejects any “works based” salvation.
Mormonism teaches that your salvation is worked out by what you do. If it is “works based”, it is not Christian.
They also have no crosses, and their “communion” is water, not a representation of the blood of Jesus.
Maybe we should not call them a Cult....they are a different religion like Buddha, Shinto, etc.
Do you believe “He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.” ?
This seems to be the crux of the discussion. If you believe that statement you believe as the Mormons do. If you don’t believe that statement then you disagree with the Nicene Creed and I don’t know what that makes you. Do you?

exactly. The idea that God was once a man, and we can become Gods? that God literally had sex with Mary?
That God personally ordered Smith’s wife, to permit Smith to marry other women, or SHE would go to Hell?
...there is so much in there, as Colofornian has shown,

...not to mention, that Smith was a convicted conman in NY. and ran the “magic stone” scheme. similar to the “translating” stone, which made hundreds of “errors” ?
