John McCain feels protesters' pain ("I understand their frustration")
Politico ^ | 2011-10-12 | Manu Raju

The Occupy Wall Street movement is getting sympathy from an unlikely person: Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

The 2008 GOP presidential nominee said he understands the growing protest movement’s concerns over Washington bailouts of major financial institutions.

“Down in Arizona today, Maricopa County has the highest number of homes underwater of any place in this country,” he told reporters Wednesday. “And it’s disgraceful that we took care of the financial institutions, and we did nothing about the housing crisis. So I understand their frustration.”

He later quipped that he may be the “only” Republican does.

Just curious.

Is the pain McCain feels the pain and deprivation felt by rich, spoiled and nihilistic Ivy League wannabe revolutionaries and anarchists?

Or is it the pain McCain feels himself when his rich heiress wife puts his credit cards on suspension and yanks the keys to his Mercedes-Benz sports sedan?

He’s running again?

You don't think he'll retire, do you?

On the other hand, maybe he can be "encouraged" to retire if South Carolina can get rid of his inamorato in 2014, and if enough conservatives win election in the Senate to render him useless.

I'm a low tech kinda guy but if you're into high tech you could take noise cancelling earphones with you.

I am a Glenn Beck fan but I didn't know he was a duct tape fan.
I always relied on Red Green for lifestyle advice.

Glenn Beck always had the “get ready to wrap duct tape around your head, because this is going to make it explode” schtick - and generally, when he made that warning statement prior to whatever he was bringing up, he was correct.

Miss him on talk radio; my local station (WPHT 1210) dropped him back in January. I’d been listening in since 2002 with him. Glaring hole in the local talk radio, in my opinion.

HA! Yeah, I remember that one too.

Kinda like losing an old friend, with him not on the local airwaves.

But then again, it’s understandable: WPHT 1210 is owned, after all, by CBS...

McMoron is so stupid and full of himself that he does not realize that the core organizers of OWS are hardcore antisemetic haters of Israel and Jews. Hitler’s Brownshirts and followers would feel at home with the sentiments expressed by these OWS s___bags who expound on the same sentiments as Nazis did in Germany; the sentiments now embraced by our own (National Socialist) Democrat Party.
