Next thing you know the kids will only be able to eat what's fed to them in the lunchroom. NO FOOD FROM HOME! Geez!

Why do they still serve peanuts on airplanes if this such a major issue?

Could that be the plan? More government forced dependency.

If anyone is denied something, everyone must be denied it.

It's unfair that anybody enjoys anything.

It must be stopped.

They were banned, for a long time; but the customers kept pressure up until Management was forced to remove their heads from a dark and unhygenic portion of their body. Now we can all enjoy a choice between pretzels, peanuts and biscotti cookies with our dixie cup of soda.

“This is the frustrating part; we have hundreds of schools across Canada who have requested free samples and information … they’ve chosen the education route,” said Mr. Mahon.

No, this IS THE FRUSTRATING PART Mr Mahon,...that you have idiots in charge of your school districts. If they are elected, I suggest you back a campaign to throw their stupid liberal asses out post haste.................

So, these peanut allergies have become so common that peanut products must be totally banned from schools? Never even heard of peanut allergies until the past couple of decades.

I can kind of see the school board’s point.

IF you insist that a peanut butter ban is needed and must be enforced, then you can’t have people bringing in products that look exactly like peanut butter.

Would make enforcement impossible.

I would find it interesting to see some statistics on severe peanut reactions in schools over the last couple decades and the extent to which these bans have been effective at reducing them.

This is primitive thinking. Let’s ban chocolate because it looks like crap!

THE MAJORITY OF SERIOUS FOOD ALLERGIES ARE DIRECTLY CAUSED BY VACCINATIONS

http://www.opposingviews.com/i/the-peanut-allergy-epidemic-is-a-man-made-epidemic-caused-by-vaccinations

in my own personal experience...I contracted...at age 50 massive food allergies and Guillain-Barre and CIDP from my first ever flu shot....
12 years later and nothing has gotten better.....

we, as a nation need to seriously look into our vaccination priorities

like the Clinton admin. banned AR 15s with bayonet lugs and flash hiders because it made the guns LOOK ominous....

and the same laws still apply here in NY...so you can own an AR or AK as long as they do not have the evil bayonet lugs and flash hiders...and if you can locate the many pre ban hi cap magazines...you can own those too....just don't ad a bayonet lug to a post ban gun or you become a felon in NY

About 10,000 children are hospitalized annually with traumatic brain injuries from sports, 2,000 children drown each year, and about 1,300 die in gun accidents.

If I thought my child would die from peanut butter, I wouldn’t send them to school. The risk is too great. Since the schools are full of kids with Sudden Peanut Death Syndrome, I can only conclude that the death of the child just isn’t a big deal to the parents. Or that the peanut thing just isn’t that big a problem.

I’m allergic to ragweed. I hereby order all plants to stop flowering, pollinating and germinating. I also order all fake plants to be confiscated and incinerated since they might be mistaken for the real thing.
