The purpose of a consumption tax that does not apply to exports is that it rewards production and exports not consumption and imports. We cant be begging for handouts from foriegn countries forever just to win a few votes.

Thank you. That is the scheme we live in and will continue to live in, it's not going away and will just get tougher.

Speaking of winning elections how would Romney debate Obama-care with Obama?

In Perry’s case how can he win Republicans vote when he told us we have no heart for opposing tax money send illegals to college ? (technically he is using the Romney excuse about his state vs feds)

So it’s not like the others are easy winners.
