How is it brilliant to go from calling your base heartless to having your wife call them bigots?

She's trying to rally Christians to Perry, and rintense had it right: As I said to another freeper, it’s always 24-48 hours post debate to do damage control.

I don't think it'll work, but they are running out of things to do and trying to appeal to Christians might help him a slight bit. All that money backing Perry hasn't helped him in the polls one bit and all that money didn't help him in the debate the other night.
