She ruled the country with an iron fist.
But even the Iron Lady needed a little support as she stepped out to celebrate her 86th birthday.
Former prime minister Margaret Thatcher left her home for a birthday lunch in London today flanked by her son Sir Mark Thatcher and daughter-in-law Sarah.
Despite suffering from a catalogue of health problems, she managed a broad smile for the cameras as she was helped into a waiting car.

Obviously she is a very elderly lady with significant health problems, but given how sick she was earlier this year, it's wonderful to see her out and about at all.

She’s looking far better than I expected. Good for her! The last real man left in Britain.

Lady Thatcher is not a man (I know what you mean tho’), she is all woman. The proper way to say it is she is all lady, but is the only Britain left in England with any stones.

The disparity between this Lady and the mobs in English streets is simply breathtaking.
We named our black lab “Margaret Thatcher” and she fulfilled the role admirably. A Lady in the house but when some animal threatened us she put on the display that I called “The Wall of Teeth”.
She too was an Iron Lady. I miss her.

She looks pretty good! Actually, she’s beginning to look like her old rival - Queen Elizabeth.

Margaret Thatcher is frickin’ awesome - I remember heras at Ronald Reagan’s funeral, whispering to his coffin. She doesn’t look much different now from then to me. Happy Birthday.

God Bless Maggie!
Old Blighty needs a PM with her spine and integrity now more than ever.
The series of girly-men and leftist PM’s they have suffered through have brought the once great nation to its knees.
