Unlike Germany, the citizenry in the US have guns in their closets, they know how to use them and Germany didn’t have the Second Amendment as a God given right. There are too many different variables at play so I don’t see how on earth the other steps would be able to be taken.

Yes, our hope is in thinking citizens with guns. However, even this "problem" (for the regime) has them making great efforts to control--constant pushing on the gun control front, media and Big Sis trying to make ordinary citizens the terrorists, proliferation of the alphabet goons with swat teams.

I do not believe it is an exact copy of 1930's Germany; only that the same tactics are being put into play, along with Cloward-Pliven chaos, and Soviet Pravda type media.
