Something positive for a change. From Rolling Stone, of all places.

As I recall, the MSM raised the same “health concerns” regarding Dick Cheney. The guy is still with us. Anything to besmirch the opposition.

We knew this was going to come out sooner or later. The media has to crush Cain from some angle, but in this one they imitate “concern”. What they are really doing is raising the issue, obviously, to remind voters and plant the seed of “risk” with Cain. This is not over. It’s abominable and it will get worse. One by one, they are going to take down our candidates until they get Romney.

Hey, McCain got the nomination despite a history of melanoma.

I know they say Johnny boy is disease-free, but I swear that tumor has eaten into his brain.

Cain knows that he would be dead if 0bamacare were in effect when he was sick. I trust him to kill 0bamacare if elected.

Cain has vowed to make some of his health records public.

He should do it as soon as obummer shows his Birth Certificate, all schools grades, where and how he got his Connecticut SS number, his medical records, his current blood tests, checking for pot, crack, coke and regular smokes.

The always predictable media.

They’ll be all compassion as they spell out how this “probably” won’t affect his ability to lead. Then they’ll have a panel with “experts” at least one of whom will paint a very dark scenario. That will be picked up by newspapers and other outlets, and “probably” will become “risky.”

That’s the way the media operates.

What was the wisecrack Cain made to his doctor? Something like “Doc, can I survive with just a sliver of my liver?”

It made me smile and it shows the man’s spirit in the face of adversity.

We could do worse than this man in the White House for 4 to 8 years.

This is NOT a positive article and you would see many more like this, should Cain get the GOP nomination. What this article really does is keep the specter of cancer above Cain’s head, subtly reminding people that he is a high health risk to be elected president.

Someone mentioned Tsongas, who said his cancer was cured, and died a few years later.

I hope Cain lives a long, healthy, happy life. But even the doctors said his chance of relapse or not is 50/50. Nobody knows what can happen to anyone, we could elect the healthiest person and something could happen to him/her, but people do think about it, when someone already has a higher chance of getting sick during his presidency.

Sad, but true, Steve Jobs died 8 years after first diagnosed with cancer.

I never brought up Cain’s health - you posted the article, I am merely pointing out that his health would be on center stage, with “concerned” innuendos in the MSM, should he run against Obama. Technically, if he chose the right VP, this could be mitigated, but don’t underestimate the viciousness of the Obama campaign in the general election.

Not disqualifying, BUT a serious consideration. DON’T GIVE ME MCCAIN as an example. That was a mistake too.

Cain is too old and too sickly. Not to mention inexperienced in political matters and foreign affairs.

I like him. He could serve in the cabinet. He has too many negatives to be president. We can do a lot better. Newt for instance. Newt has problems too, but he is healthy and younger. He is brilliant, most experienced candidate in the field. We have inexperience right now and we know how that has worked out. We need someone who can hit the ground running. No time for OJT.

That’s funny, Obama has stage V brain disease and we’re the ones who are dying.

We all have an appointment with death.
Mr. Cain is healthy now, and fit to be President.
Might cancer strike back and take him down? Sure. And perhaps President Obama with get hit with a case of 'The AIDs'.
We're all going to die of something, at some time, known only to God.
FUD reigns strong with the MSM (when discussing Conservatives), and in politics (amongst all the Parties).
Cain for President and FUD-meisters begone.

“...there are no limitations on what he can or cannot do...”

In so many ways Herman Cain is actually living the American dream! I am finding myself respecting this man more and more each day.
