Nia-Malika Henderson accuses Herman Cain of wanting to live in a post-racial world while playing the "race card." Unreal.
"Well, I think, if we could focus a little bit on Herman Cain. I think Herman Cain is on one hand saying we're in a post-racial country, but at the same time he seems to play the race card when it comes to talking about African-Americans. Talking about in the ways in which they vote for Democrats. It's not something that he would, for instance, say about white evangelicals who vote in overwhelming numbers for Bush. Something like 75 or 80%. And for McCain, something like 73%," Nia-Malika Henderson told Chris Matthews on MSNBC's "Hardball."
"So, I think there is still a grappling this country still has to do with race, but again we'll see obviously on Sunday -- this really moving event with the dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial and President Obama there as this dream from kind of a book end to Martin Luther King's dream," she added.
Using Henderson's logic, Obama is a chapter in Martin Luther King Jr's dream while Herman Cain is just a race baiter.

HONKEYS FOR HERMANN
Hey, Nia-Malika, or whatever you call yourself, Herman Cain was a successful CEO of a billion dollar company. He has a record of achievement.
What have you ever achieved in your pathetic life? Nothing?
You act like you're an expert on Herman Cain when you know nothing about him and have nothing in common with him except you are both black.
And now you have appointed yourself the expert who decides who can talk about racial issues and who can't. I suppose you expect Herman Cain should have to come to you and ask for your permission to talk about racial issues.
Nia-Malika, you're nothing but an affirmative action stooge whose only job is to attack conservatives.
Hey, Nia-Malika, get a real job. And STFU.
Please. You can’t compare “white evangelicals” (which may or may not be a voting bloc) to an entire race.
Blacks are the only race in America that gives 90% of their vote to ONE POLITICAL PARTY and have for decades.
Let me repeat: blacks are the only RACE in America that gives 90% of its vote to ONE political party. Is that normal? Or does that seem like it must be the product of groupthink, brainwashing, fearmongering, whatever you want to call it?
And, by the way, this point was made in something I ready at conservativeblackchick.com .
It isn’t the color, it’s the entitlement attitude.
They called Clinton the first black President, because he had the right entitlement attitude. As long as they lkeep the entitlements coming, blacks will love you.
I don’t understand Ms. Henderson’s definition of the “race card.”
Generally, the “race card” is a term used to mean that a person is using his race as an ill-founded excuse or a justification or basis for entitlement.
Ms. Henderson obviously disagrees with Mr. Cain’s views. Fine. But how in the world can she call that playing the race card?
How is pointing out that blacks ought to divorce the Democrat party and leave the Democrat plantation the “race card”?
It’s actually Ms. Henderson who is using the race card. She’s the one holding up “race” as the reason only her ideas about blacks should be heard and Herman Cain’s should be squashed.
When you use race as a reason for why you think someone else should shut up or be shut up — as Ms. Henderson has done here — that is the penultimate use of the race card.
Hmmmm....Nia-Malika sure sounds Muzzie....
Exactly.
Note how she uses the % of “white evangelicals” as a comparison.
Dear Ms. Henderson:
Your attempt to analogize “white evangelicals” with an entire race (”blacks”) fails.
White evangelicals, to the extent that they are a voting bloc (which is somewhat of a myth if you review the data), are a segment of white voters who tend to vote differently from other white voters.
That split of ideas among the white race (which is multiplied across the political specturm) is in stark contrast to what occurs with the black race.
The entire black race — hear me here, the ENTIRE BLACK RACE — in this country tends to vote exactly the same, up and down the ticket, year after year, decade after decade.
Ms. Henderson, that is not normal. It is neither normal, nor healthy than an ENTIRE RACE has almost ZERO DIVERSITY of political opinion. Something is wrong there, Ms. Henderson. That result is *not possible* if individuals truly are thinking for themselves, educating themselves about the issues, and reaching their own conclusions.
Here on Free Republic we have a whole bunch of people deeply committed to conservatives ideas. Yet we often fight like crazy and peel off in different directions from time to time. That is normal. And that is just a small group of people, not an entire race, generation after generation.
Until the black race in America countenances intellectual and political diversity, it will indeed languish on the Democrat plantation. It will continue to be used as political human shields to protect welfare chains that do nothing but give mostly white Democrat politicians personal power.
White Evangelicals have to vote for Republicans,
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
because the Demoncrats want to genocide all Black Americans,
It’s not something that he would, for instance, say about white evangelicals who vote in overwhelming numbers for Bush. Something like 75 or 80%.
And Cain isn’t saying that blacks are racist, he’s saying boldly that he’ll get lots of their votes. Then again if blacks cross party lines only to vote for a black man then maybe they are racist.
LOL
NOBODY in the media remembers that Baraq had a white momma
and Baraq had to marry a girl like MooseChelle or he’d never have had enough “cred” to join the team.
HONKeys FOR HERMAN!

FJ, I’m you’re biggest fan for cogent posts like this.
Glad to have met you on the Cain threads.
Something like 75 or 80%. And for McCain, something like 73%,”
***
33% of Evangelicals, 50% of Catholics IIRC.
That being said, Cain should not have mentioned it. Picking up the black vote is something that would have happened naturally.
That being said, I support Cain, but love Bachman.
Thank you for kind words.
I appreciate your good work.
wait, lemmee understand this...
