Why U.S. military in Uganda? Soros fingerprints all over it.

After President Barack Obama announced earlier this week that he would be sending American troops into Uganda, WND uncovered billionaire activist George Soros' ties both to the political pressure behind the decision and to the African nation's fledgling oil industry.

Soros sits on the executive board of an influential "crisis management organization" that recently recommended the U.S. deploy a special advisory military team to Uganda to help with operations and run an intelligence platform, a recommendation Obama's action seems to fulfill.

The president emeritus of that organization, the International Crisis Group, is also the principal author of "Responsibility to Protect," the military doctrine used by Obama to justify the U.S.-led NATO campaign in Libya.

Soros' own Open Society Institute is one of only three nongovernmental funders of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect, a doctrine that has been cited many times by activists urging intervention in Uganda.

Authors and advisers of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine, including a center founded and led by Samantha Power, the National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights, also helped to found the International Criminal Court.

Several of the doctrine's main founders also sit on boards with Soros, who is a major proponent of the doctrine.

As I keep saying, Obama is in the White House to help make Soros as rich as humanly possible, to which Soros will likely gift Obama many, many millions of dollars.

Funny the protests don’t end up at Soro’s house.

Bush's fault!

How many non-war wars are we in now?

Want to know what would be funny? After Jorge Schwartz, aka George Soros, amasses all of these oil interests and feels that he has cornered the market to bleed the world financially, that some oil company scientists release “new” indisputable evidence that oil is actually a renewable resource.

Karma is a funny thing and weirder things have happened, like the discovery that the earth is in fact not flat. That the earth actually rotates around the sun, instead of the other way around. That the sun is actually responsible for climate change, especially between night and day.

Why does our military follow UNCONSTITUTIONAL ORDERS?

This is NOT a National crisis, in our interests!

They should refuse orders till Congressional authority is issued!!!

I tend to believe most of these missions here and there are planned way in advance and of course changes in the world affect time tables ect. I have a close relative, gets sent to Afghanistan every summer for 3-4-5 months. He was lucky enough to be home this hunting season and he came up, killed a moose. Cool to see relative get his first moose, first half hour I took him hunting, lucky bugger actually. So we were trying to plan a hunt nx fall in 2012. He just got word he'll be back in Afghan nx summer through fall in 2012. Also will be in Somalia summer 2013. He tells me this stuff is all planned out ahead of time, don't matter who the Pres is. USA has a presence in Somalia (S.F. CIA, Support People, and all that) to handle problems in that part of Africa. Me thinks this Ugandan operation isn't that big of a deal.

I'd like to see them bring all the troops home too, but then the Arabs would shut our oil off and then where would this country be?

“...the Arabs would shut our oil off and then where would this country be?”

We would have to drill here, and drill now!

I hear ya, but I live in ALaska and have been watching them talk about drilling for 25 years, and no drilling. We’d have an easier time getting oil from Iran than the greenies giving the OK to drill our own.

“Me thinks this Ugandan operation isn’t that big of a deal.”

I don’t think that is true. I think it is a very big deal.
If you watch “The Great Global Warming Swindle” on YouTube (1hr), you will see that this may have something to do with their “grand scheme”. Through EPA regulations and people being lied to about global warming all around the world, third world countries are being oppressed. Effectively halting advancements in these countries. In other words, keeping them poor 3rd world countries.

The implications of this article are frightening indeed made all the more ominous by the context of the world affairs in which the invasion of Uganda occurs.

Although no direct proof is presented here, the article connects the dots tending to show that George Soros is exercising direct influence over the president of the United States to enter foreign sovereign countries without consulting Congress and that operation directly profits Soros financially.

Put another way, the might of the American military is at the disposal of George Soros.

The implications for Israel are frightening indeed.

This would be ominous enough but it occurs in a context of international turmoil. We have thousands in the streets at home in America demonstrating for the destruction of our constitutional/capitalist system. We have riots in many countries around the world who share those goals and at least demand a socialist response to a world economic crisis.

There is a real and present danger of a perfect storm breaking upon us combining a sovereign default in Europe which threatens the existence of the euro and even of the European Union itself. The contagion from this crisis could easily spread from Greece to the rest of the European Union to America.

In addition, the situation in China becomes daily more tenuous with more and more Chinese businessmen committing suicide or going on the lam as their enterprises crash. It is a distinct possibility that China could crash at about the same time as the European union. China produces an excess of 25% of the world's GNP. China consumes about 40% of the worlds copper, for example. China is facing a real estate bubble that makes the American bubble look like prudent management.

Finally, the third component of a perfect storm, the American economy itself, it is teetering on the verge of a new recession. Even without a new recession, our sputtering economy cannot produce enough jobs to keep the left off the streets and prevent them demonstrating.

We have the specter now of Obama ginning up protests at home while he supports protests in the Middle East, except in Iran of course, assassinating Americans abroad, and invading foreign countries without congressional consent.

The evidence accumulates here that Soros is behind much of this as he is behind the very existence of the presidency of Barak Obama.

The Democrat party is in virtual financial thrall to George Soros and his front groups. No elected Democrat can break the party line and expect to be funded in the next campaign. In fact, he can expect his opponent in the primaries to be funded. Moreover, since Soros also controls leftist propaganda outlets, a maverick Democrat legislator will be mauled in the media.

We here at Free Republic have tended to dismiss the "occupiers" as "flea baggers" who will be exposed in the media as very unattractive and unworthy leftists who will provoke a profound backlash against them and against the Democrats who associate themselves with these flea baggers. But their protests are growing and the media has been blatantly biased in its reporting.

Obama and the Democrats are taking a grave risk in the election by associating themselves with these demonstrations. Richard Nixon was able to get the presidency in 1968 by playing on this reaction to leftists in the streets and a rousing the "silent majority." Why are the Democrats courting this risk? Either they have polling which tells them that they gain rather than lose from this strategy or, they have polling which tells them they will lose unless they attempt desperate measures.

Putting aside the question of Democrats placing the nation in peril for their own electoral advantage at a time of world crisis, one can conclude that either motivation is scary.

We conservatives on Free Republic should be very careful about dismissing these developments on the streets of America. They carry with them the kernel for revolution which Marxists like Barack Obama and elitists like George Soros want. If an elected Democrat does not dare go against George Soros, dare a establishment media reporter or editor go against George Soros?

We are coming to some sort of denouement and no one can predict the next turning.

Perhaps that is what Obama, Soros, and the Democrats are banking on. We were in a position to win this next election in an orderly constitutional republic. I do not doubt that Obama would cheerfully fracture that constitutional republic to extend his power. He has perhaps nothing to lose.

A cornered rat is a dangerous rat.

That, and explore alternative energy, which may be more affordable then you think, when you factor in transport costs, as well as the cost of securing and fighting for the supply.

Nate, now you're scaring me cause I always pay attention when I hear you saying something.

Those occupying people are just going to upset more of the American Center and drive them more conservative, which is a good thing actually. JUst let them get to thinking NYC is Italy, let them start burning cars, businesses, ect. It will explode in their faces and I mean in the entire dem party's face too. Always remember how well armed America really is. Americans ain't going to sit idly by and watch everything they worked for go up in smoke cause of these protesters; at least not in the America I know of.

I've been watching the pendulum swing back and forth and the dems get in, get kicked back out and repubs save the country for my entire life. I don't get too upset about the kooks because I know and believe in my heart that more of America thinks like I do than like those idiots in NYC do. And I don't feel like a cornered rat, nor do I think many Americans feel like cornered rats. Actually, life is quite good and when we get a repub in 2012, everything will get right again. I just hope and pray the economy doesn't turn around until after Nov 2012, heck of a thing ain't it. You have a good weekend.
