Why can we not vet this guy? He will be vetted whether we do it or not. Red meat speeches about electrified border fences and a national sales tax to go with the income tax. Economic empowerment zone exemptions and now Rich Lowrey, who came up with Cain's tax plan has already begun to consider lowering or dropping the income tax on the poor and lower middle class, at least according to Jennifer Rubin's interview with him.
Cain was the Dole/Kemp top adviser, he is a motivational speaker who gets the crowds pumped and that is good but we must scrutinize his plans or we will be left with a candidate the Dems will slice to pieces.

Because he’s not Rick Perry! Didn’t you read the memo?
Like Palin, Cain is soooo obviously Genuine Conservative(tm) that he **requires no vetting**.
If you believe in wasting time vetting Cain why don’t you go over to DU where you belong?
:-)
