Don’t kid yourself. The vast majority of the middle class will pay more - a lot more. Do the math and read the fine print. Families and seniors will be especially hard hit.

As for products getting cheaper - no way. The 9% business tax is a VAT in disguise. All the parts going into a product will pay the 9% tax, and then the final product will be taxed 9% plus the state sales tax, unless of course the product is manufactured out of country. Can you hear that great sucking sound?

In short, the 9-9-9 plan is going to do the opposite of what you think it will.
