Presid...I mean Mr Cain honors MLK each and every day by being a credible and productive member of society.
What really irritates me is when a foreigner criticizes my country. This cat needs to take a closer look at the country he comes from before speaking ill of this one.
Mr Cain lives the MLK dream of being a man who is color blind. MLK would be proud of Mr. Cain.
Martin Bashir: Cain Doesn’t Want To Be “Associated With African-Americans”
Martin Bashir: Cain Doesn’t Want To Be “Associated With African-American democrat party exploiters and oppressors of blacks.
There, fixed it.
Don’t you love all the white liberals tell blacks how they must think?
I have to believe that Godfather Cain was treated to this his whole life, until one day he stood up to the Martin Bashirs of the world and said “To hell with you. I am a free American!”
I am also proud of my heritage, but feel no need to be called a Scots-Irish-Germanic-and God only knows what else-American. My heritage seems irrelevant to my allegiance.
And just to be on the safe side, better have a different partisan media shill make an incompatible but still incoherent accusation. :’) Thanks i88schwartz.
You are so right. Mr. Cain walks the walk. He is living breathing proof that the dream is alive and well. And he achieved it the old fashioned way, self determination, hard work and ethics. Speaks more to me than attending a speech.
Herman LIVES the American dream to the fullest!
FYI...Martin Bashir is from India and thus, NOT white. Apparently from his perspective anybody who is NOT white can speak for other people who are NOT white.
He’s just another liberal asshat. Pay not attention to him.
Personally, I LOVE Cain’s stand on this. I have long thought that most of the black people I know have ancestors that go back way farther in this country than I do. I think I am about the 5th generation in America in my family, coming from both German and Irish ancestors. But I don’t call myself an Irish-American or a German-American. I’m an American.
Cain’s take on it is the same. He says he is the descendent of slaves, but his ties and association are with America, not Africa. So that makes him a black American. Not an African-American.
