Im mad as hell, and Im not going to take it anymore! Yeah, thats great. But what do you want? What are your goals? What are your demands? What result are you looking for?
The beauty of being vague is that anyone who has any emotion can get caught up in the excitement and join your crusade. Theyll just get mad at something and assume that youre both mad about the same thing. Put a few hundred of these people together, and boom. Youve got a crowd, a headline and a lot of attention but no message.
A lot of people on Twitter are saying I totally agree with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) demands and goals. The only problem is that I have no idea what their demands and goals are. And neither does anyone else. If all you ever do is stomp around, yell and hold up signs protesting a million different things, sure youll get some attention, but over time, youll just look foolish. You end up coming across like a three-year-old having a temper tantrum.
This is whats happening to the OWS movement. Theyre being discredited because no one has stepped forward and really stated what it is theyre after. The whole group is just coming across like a bunch of jacked-up, jobless, wannabe hippies. Thats not going to change anything in this country. Youve got to state your goals clearly if you want to accomplish something.
So in the absence of any clear goals, let me comment and offer some helpful advice in some areas that seem to be getting a lot of disorganized OWS attention...

pretty good...
That was a very good read!
They're looking to get high, get laid, and get on TV.
“But if you take all of that energy and excitement and pour it into something new and creative, youll get the chance to serve a whole lot of people really well, and over a decade or two, youll get to become the very thing youre now protesting: rich people who actually earned their money.”
The last few sentences make the article IMHO.
I expected Dave Ramsey to talk about the OWS’ers whining about their huge student loan debt burden along with their useless college degree and their un/under employment, since that is Dave’s speciality.
The occupy wallstreet people have finally got what they longed for, some one to take care of them, they will never leave. The ironic laughable thing about it is the very entity they are protesting against are the biggest MONEY CONTRIBUTORS to the DNC and are the pimary supporters of these squatters............... WALLSTREET!
They do have a goal...they want everything for free. Free college educations and because they want all debts cancelled they want free cars, free houses, free food, free love, free drugs, free everything. They are doomed to a big disappointment!
He gave the OWS supporters the opportunity to call in, and let's them hang themselves on their own ignorance.
Well the Soviet Union did not fall because of our free trade with them. We starved them. We are treating Communist China differently by sending them our manufacturing base and borrowing huge chunks of money from them. We are empowering a Communist country. And many here cheer the merger of a capitalist and communist partnership.
I dont think Ronald Reagan or any other conservative before him would approve of the one sided trade policies we have formed with an avowed enemy of our country. Yet the New Right conservatives cheer the traitorous corporations who take our jobs and wealth to a country where every citizen paycheck is cut through the communist government and the rate of 1.25 an hour is standard pay...and call these corporate whores innovative and job creators?
Be sure to go out there and protect communist China from the anger of Americans who see globalism and communism as a threat to their way of life. From what I see of OWS its not freebies these people are looking for. Most of them just want their country back. So do I.

Ding! +1 for resonance. But you also get a +1 in vagueness with the summary “Most of [the people in OWS] just want their country back. So do I.” “Taking the country back” is something everyone can unite behind, simply because it’s too vague to really make sense. Do you realize that there are plenty of OWSers out there who want to “take the country back” from eeeevil Republicans who want Draconian Cuts of social programs?
But then, you’re missing the point of the article: I’ll bet you not 1% of OWS protesters could even describe what a trade imbalance is, much less have a serious problem with the unholy alliance of the worst of Communism with the worst of Capitalism.
Because “Take the country back” sounds good to a milling mass of misinformed malcontents. And requires less comprehension. And less work.
I know Dave R. has helped some people with financial problems but as to his advice on Economics see this video; “Dave Ramsey Was Wrong; Peter Schiff Was Right; The Panic of 2008”,
