This just in from Harry Reid's planet:
The Democrat believes, "It's very clear that private sector jobs are doing just fine."
This from the five-term senator from Nevada, where current unemployment is 13.4%. Nevada, the state with the nation's highest foreclosure rate.
Reid, who turns 72 in a few weeks, was speaking on the floor of the U.S. Senate Wednesday.
He was talking about President Obama's $447 billion jobs bill. Oh, no, wait, the Democrat-controlled Senate shot down the Democratic president's jobs bill that was so urgent it had to await the end of POTUS' island vacation for presentation to Congress.
Reid was talking about just part of the president's jobs bill, the most important part, of course, because the $35 billion would re-hire or maintain union teacher jobs and other public workers.
The president has been riding all over North Carolina and Virginia in his black bus this week blaming the other party because that's what presidents do 383 days before American voters rule on their White House lease renewal.

“It’s very clear that private sector jobs are doing just fine.”
I believe this translates to, My voter base consists of union public workers and thats who I work for.
What a hypocrit! He’s not up for re-election anytime soon is he?
Not until 2016. We had a shot at him in 2010, but ended up blowing it.
Outrageous lie or senior dementia — either way, he is not fit to hold public office.
Thank you, Nevada!
I'm still waiting to hear the Republican response.
HELL-O???
Unfortunately not. I believe he stole his reelection in 2010, but is up in 2016. Hopefully the men in the white coats will pick him up before that. It obviously he has lost it. Maybe his boxing carrier is catching up to him
For construction workers, it’s a depression.
He has to say that so they have an excuse to funnel money to the unions and get it back in campaign contributions.
Yeah all the casino and hotel workers and construction folks in Vegas haven’t had a hard time at all.
The most foreclosures and underwater mortgages in the entire country are in Vegas.
Progressives truly believe they are in control of the economy and all corporate executives, business owners and employees. Or they like to give the appearance of being in control. Now all they have to do is convince the American people that we need government to run the economy and not free markets.
