Infuriated lower Manhattan residents went ballistic on Zuccotti Park protesters at a chaotic Community Board 1 meeting tonight while blasting politicians for allowing the siege to continue without any end in sight.
"They are defecating on our doorsteps," fumed Katherine Hughes, a stay at home mom who has the misfortune of living one block from the chaos. "A lot of people are very frustrated. A lot of people are concerned about the safety of our kids."
Fed up homeowners said that they've been subjected to insults and harassment as they trek to their jobs each morning. "The protesters taunt people who are on their way to work," said James Fernandez, 51, whose apartment overlooks the park. "I walk out of my apartment and see people urinating on my steps."

Lady, you're in luck! All the 5 star dining and face-stuffing at OWS will guarantee a continued ample supply for you and your neighbors.
“I walk out of my apartment and see people urinating on my steps.”
Welcome to the collective.
The beginnings of the zombie apocalypse.
Reminds me of San Francisco. The authorities permitted the “homeless” to set up camp all over the park. Then the people complained that they were harassed by them and couldn’t use the public parks.
So the city had the cops roust them and they moved over to the upper crust areas and peed and crapped on their lawns, sometimes in full view of the homeowners who had wanted them removed from the parks in the first place. Said homeowners then complained to the city about the bums in their yards.
Seems that the bums are the “noble persecuted” until they intrude on the well off property owners of SF.
I’d bet that most of these complaining Manhattan residents thought that OWS was a great idea when it started, before they (instead of someone else) had to deal with reality.
That sign is hilarious. Can’t they just occupy every OTHER thing?
And they should include in their list the rest room, that would prevent human fecal matter on people’s doorsteps.
Plum jokes for the nighttime talk show hosts to avoid.
One elderly woman told a protester to stop screaming and was met with an even hgiher volume. “Get some earplugs!,” retorted David Stano. “This is the street. I can say whatever I want! I can’t calm down, I’ve been struggling for 30 years!”
What lovely people. Obama nation! The leftists would LOVE it if we all lived like this. After all, SOME people are more equal than others.
Obama on Libya today. Spoken to the rebels: You have won your Revolution. The dark shadow of tyranny has been lifted.
In Seattle today a guy handing out flyers for the posters told me that the unions had donated a lot of food to the OWS protesters in Westlake Park
I wanna see one single Conservative go to the nxt meeting, wait his turn to address the board, go uo to speak, tuen and say the following...
“You voted for Obama and he supports this insanity.”
Turn and leave the building answering no reporter questions or none from the crowd or board.
Garrrr...
“Go up to speak then say the following...”
Go tell it to Po-useless-i and Obammy! LOL!
Sounds like a typical day in SF at Justin Herman Plaza.
Obama loves this anarchy. As a community agitator, it was his fondest wish to see protesters urinating on doorsteps in Chicago, but Mayor Daley might have sent out troopers and dogs, and BO is not that brave.
Mayor Milquetoast of NYC has no such intestinal fortitude. The disgusted citizens of his city have to put up with this abuse because the Mayor calls it “democracy” when people with university degrees but no common decency defecate on his police cars.
The Democrats count on the 82nd Airborne dropping in on them in case of any serious problems.
This escapes Obama's notice BECAUSE (1) the rebels are his Alqaida buddies, (2) his Luo slave-trading genome itches for this kind of thing, (3) he's just plain stupid, or (4) somebody told him to say that.
I would never remotely support Rudy for POTUS, but I suspect if something like this had happened on his watch as NYC mayor, he'd have shut it down in a hurry and they'd be occupying somewhere in Jersey...if anywhere at all.
Stop crying, whiners.
The courts have repeatedly ruled that freedom of expression trumps everything, and has no limits.
Maybe you can get Bloomingidiot to change their minds?
I have absolutely no sympathy for any resident of any borough of NYC. You vote for evil and then are shocked when evil supports its spawn? Fools. Not stupid. Not ignorant. Just fools choosing the easy over the right thing so many, many decades ago. You howled for license and now the evil of license will consume your city and expose it for the cesspool of evil that it is. I laugh at your calamity and take delight in your trouble. Fools.
