Infuriated lower Manhattan residents went ballistic on Zuccotti Park protesters at a chaotic Community Board 1 meeting tonight while blasting politicians for allowing the siege to continue without any end in sight.
"They are defecating on our doorsteps," fumed Katherine Hughes, a stay at home mom who has the misfortune of living one block from the chaos. "A lot of people are very frustrated. A lot of people are concerned about the safety of our kids."
Fed up homeowners said that they've been subjected to insults and harassment as they trek to their jobs each morning. "The protesters taunt people who are on their way to work," said James Fernandez, 51, whose apartment overlooks the park. "I walk out of my apartment and see people urinating on my steps."

Seems we’re going to have a lot of NYers voting GOP next year.
P;ease don't forget Bloomersberg has as much to do with this as anyone. He all but asked for riots in the streets. He certainly isn't protecting the residents raising the complaints about the Communists in Zucotti Park!
What’s “marshall law?”
This how Daniel Henninger described the OWS protest in today’s WSJ:
Spread across a city block, the park’s people have settled into a barely moving mass of down-market grunge “occupying” a marijuana oasis. Compared to this group, Mark Rudd and the Columbia University sit-ins of 1968 were Periclean Athens.
After a while, a New Yorker finally realizes what he is seeing: It’s the reincarnation of the squatters movement that occupied Tompkins Square Park on the Lower East Side in the 1980s. Starting in the Koch administration, Tompkins Square, between Avenue A and Avenue B, became a primary symbol of New York’s social and civil disintegration. Filled with illegal squatters who refused to leave, Tompkins Square and its surrounding neighborhood became a magnet for drug freaks, organizers of pro-Sandinista rallies, homeless people, bad musicians and a lot of very lost kids.
I was thinking: "who's Marshall Law?"
How can these people possibly complain. Things like this are common to all of the socialist third world cities. Just think of Detroit, SF, LA, Cleveland, NYC, Atlanta, etc. They elected the trash to run the trashy cities with the trashy people. If you don’t like trashy people urinating on your doorstep then your best bet is to move because you’ll never get enough votes to oust the trash in charge.
I didn’t know where else to post this, but I just saw this flash of a Twitter post on another site:
ABC Reporters Life Allegedly Threatened at Occupy Oakland; We Shoot White Bitches Like You Around Here. http://t.co/fyv1PwkU
The NY Post published what the two choices actually were on this stupid push poll. One answer makes you look like a saint and the other makes you look like a paranoid wingnut. Sienna. Give me a break.
Mr. Henninger should read Mark Rudd’s book. Rudd and his friends were very surprised when the black students demanded their own building and they were armed. Back in 1968. It’s a good read. I recommend it.
Oh pshaw!! This can’t be true. Why only a couple of days ago I heard the president (wannabe) say the OWS crowd was just like the Tea Party.
These folks say they are not. Does this mean the president lied?
Oh no, say it isn’t so.
You’ve hit on something here. Sending in Pizza laced with exlax or another similar laxitive is a truly major league idea!!!
Should have been Martial Law.
Is there a psychological term for people who try to re-live their own youth through the younger generation?
One set of Obama voters criticizing the other.
I'd guess almost all of them. Remember the video where some, I think, McCain supporters were trying to have a parade in lower Manhattan? They were met with boos, cat calls, insults, laughing, and loud yelling from the locals all along the parade route. The brats in the park are the product of their liberal belief system.
A new show on MSPMS?
placemark.
