I knew a woman who became pregnant the result of a rape. She weighed her options, listened to those counseling her and decided to abort the child. Almost immediately she regretted her decision and struggled to live with what she described as a tremendous guilt. Eventually, she began abusing drugs and alcohol and her life became a mess. On the second anniversary of her abortion she took her own life.

The woman, 19 at the time of the rape, was my next door neighbor and my friend and the man who raped her was her uncle.

If a woman gets raped by her brother and gets pregnant and is in danger of losing her life because of the pregnancy and wants an abortion, what should her fine Christian husband do or say to his wife?

Why, he should chain her to the wall for the duration until delivery and FORCE her to birth the child. THEN he should be FORCED in turn to raise it and put his name on the birth certificate./s

Cain thinks abortion should be. personal choice and govt should not interfere in it.

How is this position different from Obama’s position.

I agree with you and Perry’s position works for me. (Though I doubt I’ll vote for him.)

How is murdering an innocent child any different than Obama’s ‘being burdened with a baby’?

I wouldn’t give the Susan B. Anthony Fund a dime.

They are sexist and compromise on abortion. In California for the U.S. Senate race in 2010, they endorsed a phony female candidate who purported to be pro-life who just happened to be a multi-millionaire over a proven assemblyman with a 100% track record on pro-life issues who happened not to be a multi-millionaire. Hmmmm, wonder what swayed them.

Screw the SBA Fund.

It’s not pro-life. But it is sufficiently pro-life for the position.

Oddly, no matter how pro-life you think you are, someone else is probably more pro-life than you are.

For example, I consider myself pro-life, but since I do not oppose birth control, I’m not pro-life enough for some of my Catholic friends.

Perry has a strong pro-life record. He has accomplished in his state several pro-life priorities. Until we get a new supreme court that will allow us to legislate abortion, it really doesn’t matter if a candidate wouldn’t make abortion illegal in the case of rape and incest.

And so far as I can tell, none of the candidates with a chance to win is going to meet this criteria. Not Romney, not Perry, and certainly not Herman Cain, who can’t even CLARIFY that he supports ANY law that would make abortion illegal for any reason.

Rape Incest, to save the mother, all legitimate reasons if the abortion is carried out in the first trimester.

That Harry Blackmun-speak is easy for you - you've already been born.

Not that it's all that important to you, but since when is it permissible to kill an innocent person for the crime of another?

Cordially,

Keep trying ;) My source def, trumps yours. Susan B. Anthony is an admirable source against Abortion. Which I am also and they recognized Perry is against abortion. I noticed you didn’t even acknowledge this and suspect because you don’t know. Anything to ruin it for the better man and let the lesser man continue on. That’s how we got McCain. Perry is Pro life. Perry said he would appoint judges who are against abortion also. He signed a pledge. That is better than anyone, thus far, has done.

“For example, I consider myself pro-life, but since I do not oppose birth control, I’m not pro-life enough for some of my Catholic friends.”

I am pro-life and have no problem with birth control as it likely lessons the amount of abortions.

I also believe in exceptions in the case of rape or the mother WILL die if she tries to carry to term.

You would think according to some of these people that I am Sanger reincarnated.
