RE :”...by calling him “the Black Sarah Palin.

That is a funny thought.

I pointed out a few days ago that Cain is playing the role that the Palinistas swore Palin would play now, bucking the establishment, the RINOs, and the MSM and rallying conservatives to someone we actually like to see. He is out there dropping conservative fire-bombs everyday saying things that drive them nuts. And unlike Palin who never even intended to run, Cain is an actual candidate.

Another difference with Palin, Cain occasionally mispeaks when being asked trap got-ya questions then corrects the record, but unlike Palin he actually does give real interviews, and tough ones that I dont see Perry or Romney doing.

Cain better get prepared for the next debate on foreign policy or that could be his Waterloo.

They are already making fun of him over the Uzbhekistan quote. Mocking him. But it means they are afraid. It shows them at the second stage of the three stages Gandhi talked about when dictatorial absolutist's are felled by people power. a) Ignore. b) Ridicule. c) Attack.

Generally they are mostly into Phase 3 now, because of his meteoric rise, but a lot of the lib entertainers, smart ass late night TV irreverentials, etc., are now still stuck on Phase 2. However, they will soon graduate from this as the arrows will show no effect, their newfound anger at Herman Cain will come out seething in the next three to four weeks, if Herman Cain's polling figure hold. That will show him as a threat and it will be Ad Hominem City, I kid you not. Get ready for it. We can weather it though. These detractors are punks. Their heads will explode in frustrations when it appears their attacks are having no effect in fact giving him name ID and building his support ironically. Get out the popcorn.

Fully agree. He has made some rather irresponsible statements in the past regarding foreign policy. On the fly statements "simple", may not be noticed, but taken in slightly more detail can quickly show how someone lacks the skill sets in a given arena. And Cain has more then once admitted his weakness on this given issue.

I agree that he needs to be up to speed on foreign policy. He has said himself that he isn’t yet, and that has seemed to be his weak spot for me. If he can pull that off, he’s a very formidable candidate.
