Mexican president: US dumping criminals at border
Yahoo/AP ^ | 10/21/11 | MARK STEVENSON

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican President Felipe Calderon accused the United States on Thursday of dumping criminals at the border because it is cheaper than prosecuting them, and said the practice has fueled violence in Mexico's border areas.

- - clip - -

"There are many factors in the violence that is being experienced in some Mexican border cities, but one of those is that the American authorities have gotten into the habit of simply deporting 60 (thousand) or 70,000 migrants per year to cities like Ciudad Juarez or Tijuana," Calderon told an immigration conference.

Among these deportees "there are many who really are criminals..."

- - clip - -

"To the extent to which they continue to put absurd curbs on migration, to the degree to which they continue to persecute migrants in the United States in an irrational way that sometimes violates their human rights, in that measure American society will continue to lose competitiveness..." he said

- - clip - -

"Calderon said immigration shouldn't be seen as a threat or invasion..."

- - more

I have said several times here that if they come here to work, then we should put them to work building roads, breaking rocks or digging ditches. Building the wall is pure genius, friend.

Tent city, no welfare, no medicaid, no foodstamps, no Section 8 housing, no unlicensed cars, no alcohol, no underage girls to exploit, impregnate or rape.

And don’t forget bologna sandwiches. The store brand bologna with the orange marked down sticker on it.

Calderon likes to sleep around. He's also in bed with Perry.

Perry and Calderon Blast Border Policies

They should be dumped at Mexico’s southern border but that costs money.

Think economy of quantity friend, quantity! A large cargo plane, southern Mexican border, cheap parachutes, possibly made in China.

Wait a minute. Why waste money on parachutes, dump 'em out.

The commit crimes there and come here. Then they commit crimes here and then go there till the heats off.

I watched a documentary last night where an American citizen, kidnapper/murderer fled to Mexico and on a request by U.S., Mexican federales picked him up, escorted him to the border and shoved him into the hands of Texas Rangers.

A refreshing change from their usual policy of not extraditing murderers without guarantees that the death penalty won't be applied.

That's the kind of cooperation we need all the time from the Mexicans. We don't need no steenkin extradition papers!

And we would even provide jobs for gun-loving Americans to make sure they build that wall correctly - Cool Hand Luke style:

But America's problem has never been the lack of workable solutions to this problem. It has always been one of Americans voting for politicians who put America first.

Dumping at the border? Mexico City would be better? Besides the U.S. is fully capable of finding all the criminals it needs, no need to import any.

Here’s what we do: Dress a few thousand of them in military uniforms. Second, give them captured AK-47’s from our Grenada operations. Third give them all parachutes and dump them off over Cuba. Jam Cuba’s radio communications. Castro will think that they are being invaded and go on national alert. Very entertaining.

Who didn't read the article? Did you read the 1st paragraph?

"Gov. Rick Perry on Tuesday criticized the U.S. Congress for failing to pass an immigration bill that would legalize millions of workers."

The McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 was a permanent Amnesty for illegals.

Legalizing illegals IS AMNESTY whether it's temporary or permanent - even if you don't call it amnesty!

As you know, giving "amnesty" to illegals is often confused with giving citizenship to illegal immigrants.

Gov. Perry has often been falsely accused of being in favor of giving illegals citizenship.

He is in favor of giving guest-worker permits to make them legal to be here to work. I have no problem with that.

Spend the $$$ and efforts to get rid of the criminals.

How many Americans and legal residents currently don't have jobs, and how many illegal aliens do have jobs? It appears you are in favor of illegals working her over Americans and legal residents. How much do we pay in welfare and food stamps, unemployment etc for legal residents and Americans who could be working if the illegals were not?

Whats your limit on legalizing these illegals, 10 million 20 million or should we only stop when your job is in jeopardy of being taken by an illegal? You are pretty free and easy with my tax dollars are you a politician or a liberal? Where is your compassion for Americans and legal residents?

... should we only stop when your job is in jeopardy of being taken by an illegal?,

I don't do yard work or pick fruit...so I'm not worried.

I do have a better ideal than yours to save money and get work done...

make all the free loaders living in gov't housing, getting welfare checks for doing nothing, making more babies that our tax dollars support...

do the jobs that illegal immigrants are doing!

When the NOLA Katrina "victims" were living in rent free apts. in Houston, guess who went to NOLA to do construction jobs?

Don't even imply that illegals are taking jobs from "entitled" Americans, because if you even think that it proves you are extremely ignorant.

... should we only stop when your job is in jeopardy of being taken by an illegal?,

,,,,, I don’t do yard work or pick fruit...so I’m not worried.,,,,

What a self centered baloney statement, do you think illegals pick fruit and do yard work all their lives? How many roofers, meat packers, etc have lost their jobs to illegals? What if we let professional illegals compete against doctors and lawyers do you think they might object and not be so liberal minded then? How dare you ignore people with a job “ below” yours. First they took their jobs and later they will take yours...You do see about illegals getting in state tuition in many states don’t you? Do you think they will leave the US when they graduate or try and get your job? I think you are very shortsighted. What do you do for a living that doesn’t worry you about losing it to an illegal? How about the President of the US? is he an illegal doing the work Americans won’t do?

...I do have a better ideal than yours to save money and get work done...

thats good, but what was my plan?

.... make all the free loaders living in gov’t housing, getting welfare checks for doing nothing, making more babies that our tax dollars support...

do the jobs that illegal immigrants are doing!...

first of thats a great idea, but there is more than one way to change that..get rid of the illegals and let the wages of the “non-desirable” jobs reach a free market price level.

When the NOLA Katrina “victims” were living in rent free apts. in Houston, guess who went to NOLA to do construction jobs?

Don’t even imply that illegals are taking jobs from “entitled” Americans, because if you even think that it proves you are extremely ignorant.

I am not ignorant I know many americans and legal residents who cant stand illegals because they are taking jobs away from them and keeping their wages down. Look at the drop in meat packing wages and framers roofers etc because of comptetition from illegals.. Methinks you are the one who may be ignorant or just plain avoiding the facts.

I agree we need to end the entitlements, they are ruining the country and breaking it.

You know there are people who are turning down jobs because they are content with their unemployment.

Your cost of living is a LOT higher than in TX so we have very different experiences with wages.

Actually, with the cost of living differences, only stupid illegals stay in CA! LOL!

If Perry isn’t for amnesty then why does he have a problem with e-verify? Why does Perry feel compelled to give in state tuition rights to illegals and why does Perry not fight for eliminating sanctuary cities? You and Perry can howl til the cows come home about how he’s not for amnesty. But his actions and inaction speak louder than his campaign rhetoric.

Posting without reading the thread, so apologize if this was covered. In addition to not providing a last meal, earlier I heard on the radio that Texas prisons won’t be serving lunch on Saturday anymore. You know what they say, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time, especially if you like to eat.
