You are correct.

Perry is a non-factor.

Time to ignore him (except when his minions attack Cain first) and train the big guns on Romney.

Exactly to the point. If Romney or Perry become our candidate, nothing will change with the tax code.

I seem to remember that Russia was on the ropes until they installed a flat tax. Their economy cranked up after its installation.

That is a good reminder. Primary polls are wildly inaccurate. Didn’t Obama steal states from under Hillary where she was polling 20+ points ahead? Cain does not have this race in the bag by any means.

For Cain, this poll should be happy encouragement for Cain to step his campaign up, and for his supporters to work harder and donate more. Nothing more, nothing less.

How is me supporting a simple flat tax instead of a complicated maze being taken in by the MSM? I think Cain is the best candidate but this 999/909 plan and opportunity zone nonsense is pathetic crap.

I'm with ya.

Cain is the better candidate. A national sales tax is not a good thing.

Actually, I don’t think Romney has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the nomination. No tea partier will vote for him and independents for the most part haven’t bought in to him. Now the MSM would vote for him, but heck they are all Democrats. 25% of the people are seemingly on his side, but 25% will not get him the nomination.

I think that the disgrace of the administration of Obummer has ruined the chance for a person of color to win a high political office for the next 50 years .Once bitten, twice shy!

We have a large underground economy with some ripping off social services while driving around with $1,000 rims on their cars. The 9% sales tax is the only way to tap into many of these parasites. With flat tax they pay nothing.

Some will avoid sales taxes too with off the books activities.

I’m sorry, you need to reread the thread. This guy has no idea who to support in 2012. He at least should know who he is against. If he is not, he is actually for Obama

Herman Cain keeps telling us that the current tax code will be discarded. Current income tax rates are now 15% and up. I am in a state that has a sales tax. I won’t mind paying a bit more for new goods. Prices on goods should be less because rather than the 22% we now pay in hidden taxes, we pay 9% on the complete product. Period. The payroll tax will disappear, so you will get your full pay minus for Social Security. Businesses will have less paper work to worry about and pay for. I* think we should try it out and see how well it works. This is a plan to kick start the economy. That is important. This is my understanding. I haven’t becomes familiar with these zones you speak of. Fill me in. Are they to be in effect before the election?

I think that every citizen should pay taxes. No more free rides, except for the physically and mentally seriously impaired. No more $ for unwed mothers having babies. Welfare is a disease and it is epidemic today!

Thanks so much for posting your compilation of Cain’s pro-life stance.

He is soooo much more pro-life than any other candidate.

Keep up the good work!! :)
