The appeal is on behalf of 11 environmental or Alaska Native groups.

Just did a little checking on the groups, it seems the usual enviro-nazi groups are included and one Native villiage.

Groups involved in the challenge include the Natural Resources Defense Council, Earthjustice, the Sierra Club, Oceana and the Alaska Wilderness League, as well as the Native Village of Point Hope.
