The Reasons for this are not that complex: SEALS are bit too disciplined to leak their "private snaps" if those even exist and the official photos remain controlled. Which is quite a different situation to few dozen militiamembers with camera cellphones, little training and more enthusiasm than discipline.

There are also cultural and situational considerations: You can't underestimate the liberating effect of being absolutely, positively and definitely certain that a dictator who has killed&tortured your relatives will never be coming back via some backdoor deal or shift in prevailing political winds. Arabs tend to be big conspiracy theorists, whether this is cultural or results from living under dictatorship is uncertain, but body on public display is very hard proof.
