NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Saturday’s snow storm made life in Zuccotti Park miserable for Occupy Wall Street protesters.

Demonstrators were left drenched with rain and then snow as the storm moved through the region. Central Park set a record for both the date and the month of October with 2.9 inches of snow.

Those camping out in the park have been stockpiling donated blankets, scarves, coats and have been trying to get more tents, cots and tarps.

The comments in the article are funny. I don’t see a lot of sympathy for the occupiers.

I bet dreams of a nice warm office job are abundant at Wall Street Central right now.

Gotta stock up on all those winter items made by greedy capitalists. Also keep putting more money in those greedy capitalist banks.

Read the comments, if they are 99% then I'm Mickey Mouse. They are .00000001%. And I guarantee most of their money comes from Soros.

I hope they get blizzard force winds next, hell I'd like to see Zucchini Park turned into Hoth the planet in Star Wars Empire Strikes Back! They sure have creatures there resembling wampas and taun tauns!!!

One of my favorite comments:

Any good looking hippy chicks can come to my place I’ll keep them warm…but they’ll have to leave with the rest of the trash in the morning.

ROTFLMAO!!

I hope they stay there too, and freeze their spoiled snotty left wing asses off. Not even Soros’ money will be able to keep them there after a few days of really cold weather. How will they charge their MacBooks in the cold? They’re all spoiled and soft.

What is the turn over? How many protesters are on R&R rotation, at any given time (warming up in their moms' basements)? I'm betting they can keep up the appearances of a continuous occupation, for a long time. It just takes sufficient reserve protesters, to allow for a rotation. That shouldn't be hard to do, in urban areas, where plenty of sympathizers live nearby.

You got that right.

Anyone being paid to protest is just another Ahole taking his check to the bank that he’s protesting.

The only power they will have is what they generate with 5 bikes? The article also said they had raised 450K and only spent 50K so far. How about assessing them for the police
protection and other expenses?
