Well all I know is that there is no sex anywhere in this story. If there were we would know the details already.
So its much ado about nothing.

The board member was upset that he or she wasnt aware of the settlement earlier. What I took offense at was that it was clear that rather than deal with the issue, there was an effort to hush it up. She was offered a way out to keep quiet.
A third party, likely a Democrat, is offended that she as a board member was not consulted prior to a settlement. The board likely had a committee to do such things or the president had inherent authority. This is not persuasive.
The fact that Politico mentions these irrelevant circumstantial facts indicates that they are grasping at straws.
Cain is saying nothing because he doesn't need to. Confidentiality agreements seal this.
In any event, there was no touching, just alleged innuendos.

This is a case where Cain should have put it out himself. Remember GWB’s DUI? He sort of hinted at it in the campaign, but it came out 4 or 5 days before election day.

This looks bad? Are you kidding? It's nothing - nada - zip!!
The sources which include the recollections of close associates and other documentation describe episodes that left the women upset and offended. These incidents include conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature, taking place at hotels during conferences, at other officially sanctioned restaurant association events and at the associations offices. There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.
Boo hoo!

"It's plausible that the media could force Cain out with this kind of stuff. Wouldn't be the first time."
One problem the media has - they can't control our vote.
They must have a big effect on you...throwing up the white flag of defeat already?

I hope I’m wrong, it doesn’t look good and there’s likely more to come.

So far I have read posts virtually accusing Romney, Perry, and Rove of outing this Cain sexual harassment allegation. Whatever the truth is of these allegations, the actual source is not at this time tied to any of the three names mentioned. It is wrong to try and make political hay for one candidate by accusing the other candidates of behavior which is unverified and is an unfair, uncalled for, smear in itself. Campaigns do a lot of stupid things and negative attacks seem to have become the standard for some political managers. However, this attack on Herman Cain will not benefit any of the other candidates even if it destroyed him. There are many other sources with vested interests in keeping Obama in power to represent the democrat party and it’s socialist agenda. Attempts to pick off Republican candidates will continue and probably not a one is immune to scandalization of something in their lives, past or present. We have to keep our focus on the real enemies of this Republic.

It worked pretty well with ThomasThat's Justice Thomas to you.
So actually, it worked not at all.

When they bash you like this, you must go on offensive immediately, come around from the back, get off the ropes quickly, and sucker punch them in the kidneys from behind. Herman Cain should announce, IN RETALIATION,
a 24 Hour National Money Bomb Donation Drive in response, and tie it in to the desperation of the Establishment in this slander and slur. Give it a catchy line and package it with something novel. I am sure Mark Block or JD Gordon or others could come up with something out of the box, clever, humorous, in their face, irreverant, and flip this thing to their advantage, as well as bring in even MORE $$$$$ in grassroots small amounts to Team Cain. And "I Don't Believe Their Lib Lies 24-Money Bomb"
Why, to have this blowback would simply make liberal heads exlode, if both the damage control AND the going on s-hot offense could occur skillfully in the next 24-48 hour news cycle. LOL! EAGLES UP! DON'T WORRY FOLKS, WE WERE TO EXPECT THIS. TAKE THIS NEGATIVE ENERGY AND PROCESS IT TO "POSITIVE" AND TURN IT RIGHT BACK ON THEM.

Great idea. If they don't think of it on their own - the 'Cain Train' followers can do it on their own!

So who's your candidate again?

Why not let it play out? Why go to war? To claim racism is a huge mistake. It won’t work and will make people angry. It didn’t work when Cain tried to jump on the racism wagon against Perry with the N-rock. People knew Perry was not a racist. If this is not true, it will certainly die a quick death. I don’t want our candidates beat up by the press or posters either. I intend to vote for the last man standing and I hope his credibility is still intact.
To: Wild Irish Rogue
I’M thrilled there was no sex involved. And there was no harassment in an office setting thank god.
The liberals, Perry supporters, and Romney supporters will have to come up with something better than this!
