Concerned Women for America, the right-leaning womens group, is calling on Herman Cain to say whether he faced complaints about his personal behavior from female employees at the National Restaurant Association who later left the organization with financial settlements.
CWA president Penny Nance told POLITICO: I think Herman Cain needs to directly answer the question. Continue Reading
Early in my career I resigned from a trade association for the exact same reason and with no financial settlement. I simply found another job, Nance said. Therefore, I know in a very personal way that sexual harassment exists and that it's demeaning and painful. It should never be tolerated in the workforce and certainly not the White House.
She continued, though, saying the report of sexually suggestive behavior toward women was not consistent with my experience with Herman Cain.
I have to say in all fairness that this characterization is completely contrary to the Herman Cain I know. Herman Cain has only been 100% respectful and deferential to me. I have never heard other women in conservative political circles complain of his behavior and they would complain loudly, Nance said. Our character and reputations are really all we have at the end of the day. Before I besmirch Herman Cain's I would need more than this.
POLITICO reported Sunday night that Cain was accused of inappropriate behavior by multiple employees at the National Restaurant Association; the trade group reached financial settlements with several women who also left their jobs.

Perry supporters are all over the net (here, political forums, Facebook, Twitter) pushing these stories.
Cain volunteers were warned of a smear campaign coming from the Perry camp, twice.
I can't find a direct connection between them, but that does not mean she is not a sister-in-law to David Nance or something like that.
Regardless, Penny Nance has ties to Rick Perry and was a big supporter prior to his entry into the GOP Primary.
She is not convicted yet, but the circumstantial case is being built.
Just in case you haven’t noticed.
Yesterday it was “two women”, then it became “at least two women”, today it’s morphed to “multiple employees” and now it’s “several women”.
No sexual harassment in the White House.
I want to know about those kittens you threw down a well and those puppies you set on fire. Answer that Cain.
The real reply should be “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours”. Present the actual documented facts, accusers, and accusations before any answers can be given. If you cannot provide anything other than ineuendo and baseless charges then pound sand and expect a court case.
I notice that Jerry Rivers is pretty aggressive in demanding the Mr Cain answer his questions too.
“Right-leaning women’s group”? Yeah, right!
She is a long-time Rick Perry supporter and has talked him up as the Romney-alternative on Fox News before he entered the race.
She was National Co-Chair of Perrys The Response: A Call to Prayer for a Nation in Crisis
So this is "Dirty Tricks" by the Perry Campaign !
Politico is a tabloid - nothing else.
I believe that there are mentally ill women who for some reason feel all men have an interest in them, whether real or fancied.
They tend to enjoy the drama at the expense of their victims.
