I voted for Perot in the ‘92 & ‘96 general elections. Bill Clinton gave me the creeps. I finally left the Democrat Party in ‘99. Now I have a hard time understanding why I was ever there in the first place.

Since it’s honesty hour, I voted for John Anderson.

(hanging head in deep shame).

I was very young...

LOL For that matter, I voted for Perot :) it is only the start of when I started to pay attention to politics. Prior to Clinton and dear Hillary on 60 minutes, I was not very political at all. I believed everyone was a decent human being and wanted the “best” for America. My gut told me the Clintons were VERY evil.

(The more I learned, the more shocked I became!!! Especially when I studied the history and methodologies put into public schools and the intentional dumbing down of American kids and the agitprop in MSM!)

The only first hand knowledge that I have about Algore is from a charter pilot who “chauffeured” Al Gore, Sr, and Jr.

He told me that Sr. was as sharp as a tack, and that Jr. was as dumb as a box of rocks.

That’s all I need to know...except that Jr. is as big a crook as his dad was.

Love the Reagan quote.

How would someone know who you vote for when we have SECRET ballots?

Someone would have to tell you.

I spoke with Jordan earlier on the phone about this story, and he reaffirmed that he interviewed Cain days after his famous televised clash with Bill Clinton on health care in 1994. During his interview with Jordan, Cain admitted that he had voted for Clinton in 1992. Jordan reported that fact for CBS affiliate KMTV in Omaha, and Cain never disputed it."

And I similarly defend Cain. I don't care who he voted for in '92. I care what he will do in '12.

Yes, well there's the rub. We don't really know what he would do after 2012. He has no record. Some of us are reluctant to trust someone with the highest office in the land, where he could do the most damage, when he has no record. If we can beat Obama, it would be nice not to get played.

Just wondering how all the “Perry supported Gore in ‘88, so I'll never vote for him” people will deal with this little piece of info.

Ah well that is the test; those that deny it and blame the media, other posters, Rick Perry, etc. will fail the test and demonstrate that it is not only liberalism that can mask a mental disorder.

Yes! It’s time for as many pics as we can find of Perry looking like he’s letting one go while gazing off into the distance in front of a flag.

It is not Rick Perry's fault that Cain was a Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton. Neither was it George W. Bush's fault. Sorry about that.

Well by 1996 he was NOT a fan of Clinton for sure:

Yep, Jack Kemp brought him into the Republican fold in '96.

Yeah and it’s not Herman Cain’s fault that Rick Perry’s sunk like a rock back to being a 3rd tier candidate, but that doesn’t stop his minions here at FR from trying to tear down Herman Cain.

No, it is not Herman's fault that Rick Perry performed erractly in the debates. It is Herman's fault that he voted for Clinton. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he and his wife split the vote against/for Obama.
