I came to that conclusion when McCain was nominated, and I left the party then.

Last week the CNN/Time poll showed Wrongney leading Cain by 3% in South Carolina. That was bogus. SC is just next door to Georgia so no way in h*ll could Wrongney be leading Cain in the polls in SC.

pgkdan, I think that is a wonderful idea. I don’t agree with you about Perry at all but I respect that you are doing this. BTW, you and I have agreed on practically every thing for as long as I can remember. This is the first time we are at odds over something on FR. Not bad....1 million to 1.

But the media has all but destroyed his chances.

That is pure crap. Perry has all but destroyed his chances. I had no idea that the media made up the heartless remark or made up the fact that he supports illegal aliens getting tuition money from tax payers. Sorry but the media had zero to do with Perry’s free fall. And to compare this deeb with Sarah Palin is beyond ridiculous.

The money and support is pouring in for Herman Cain, but we cannot slow down now. Please help him by donating at http://www.hermancain.com/

Also to help join the buzz about Herman go to facebook.com and “like” him. In just the last week he has jumped 13% or 42000 with an impressive 10,000 in the last 24 hours. Make no mistake Karl Rove is watching Herman’s “likes” and so is Romney who gained just 1500 since last Tuesday. THIS is the way to stick it to the GOP establishment! Please tell your family and friends to “like” Herman as well.

The instate tuition assistance for children of illegals is alot about nothing. There are 12 states that offer this tuition discount. 7 of them have republican governors. Texas also gives instate tuition to states that border Texas. They also have to have the means of paying the money back and sign s statement saying they will apply for full US citizenship. And the law affects 1% of the students in Texas colleges. The “heartless” remark was made at one of the liberal smucks that asked him the question during the debate. Perry has been one of the most successful governors in the US for many years. He is well-qualified for the office of the presidency. Alot more qualified than the paper-hanging ward politician that currently resides in the White House. He does not need on the on-the-job training. In terms of experience Sarah Palin is a lightweight compared to Perry, and that goes for any other governor in the country. And, Cain certainly didn’t help matters for Perry when he jumped on the race card the minute he heard liberals raking Perry over the coals for the “racist rock” at the hunting camp. The media has tried to turn Perry into a joke - THE EXACT SAME THING they did to Palin.

Nobody can agree all the time, right? But either way you cut it I hope we're still on the samer page. I want Cain to beat this harassment thing. It's the kind of crap that makes me sick, I just don't think it looks good for him right now. But if he wins the nomination I'm behind him 100%. I can proudly get behind any of our candidates 100% other that Romney. I'll vote for him but that's it. It's ABO for me, but if it's romney it will be with zero enthusiasm.

Perry people keep saying this, but guess what those 7 Republican governors are not running for President and if they were I would not support them either. As far as the rest of the post you gave, I don't care if he has more experience than the others. He stinks. Clinton had a TON of experience too so does HUCKSTER but I don't want them either. Replacing liberal Obama with liberal Perry does not makes sense.

I agree.....I will need a lot of convincing about Perry but I am sure before the general you guys will figure out a way to convince me....I have no doubt. lol. And a few alcoholic beverages would not hurt either.......IF the race looks like it will be something like 50/50 Obama vs. Perry that would be very convincing too.

“Replacing liberal Obama with liberal Perry does not make sense”

What makes him “liberal”? He’s pro-life, believes marriage is between a man and woman, pro-guns, has spent hundreds of millions of dollars protecting the border in Texas. Has governed exactly like a conservative is supposed to govern.
So he’s “liberal” because a REPUBLICAN-controlled Texas
legislature passed a bill to give in-state tuition to kids of illegals?

Well with your reasoning, count Sam Brownback as one of your “liberals”. He’s as conservative as they come and ran for president four years ago. Kansas has the exact same progream Texas has in place.

Your “conservative” Herman Cain was for Tarp, the bailout of Wall Street, he’s been for affirmative actions his entire life.......and supported the liberal Romney in 2008.
Have you noticed not once has Cain said a disparaging remark during the debates about Romney. And Romney hardly ever mentions Cain’s name. This is not hard to figure out.
Liberal RINO Romney on the top of the ticket, with “conservative” Cain as his sidekick. If these allegations against Cain go away, that will the ticket to run against, and lose to Obama. People don’t vote for
the vice president. If they did McCain would have won
four years ago.

In a case like that Willard would not only be in deep doo, Willard would be finished as a candidate for president. Remember, so far no one has won the R nomination without winning the SC primary as long as there has been an SC Republican primary. If you can’t win this state as a Republican you may as well pack it in.

You can’t count on SC. Not just because of “Lovable Lindsey”. John B. Connally, Jr., backed by Strom, put all his eggs in the SC basket in 1980 and cratered.

Now, Toadman, we will telling you in twelve months that you “must” vote for Mittens because of the Supreme Court nominees, if nothing else.

You must have forgotten that SC is the home of “Lovable Lindsey” who I seem to recall is spearheading votes for Romney there. People in SC do as Lindsey tells them.

“The instate tuition assistance for children of illegals is alot about nothing...”

BS it is!!

The story of American jobs and labor is deeply intertwined with predatory Federal, state and local taxation and regulation....

South Koreans sleep soundly on their border with NORKS because of American Taxpayer dollars and the American GI.

Why can’t Texans, New Mexicans, Arizonans and Californians?....BECAUSE

Illegal immigration is THE KEY to the perpetuation of the status quo in DC......

Predatory tax and regulatory policies-actions that basically serve to perpetuate and grow governments-leave what business is left in the country seeking disposable labor.

Illegal Labor is the Feds out for preserving the status quo regarding Taxes and Regulation. Interestingly, that is WHY the Feds encourage in-state tuition etc for illegals under-the-table -their presence providing disposable labor allows Federal, State and local regulatory and tax excess in the status quo to continue

Immigration is the ultimate litmus test as to the candidates in question commitment to meaningful regulatory and tax reform. If they are wishy-washy on the subject...they have no real intent to disturb the DC status quo...no matter how big their cowboy hat and six-gun.

Real ”leadership” is that which will place Flyover Country’s interest ahead of the Feds....haven’t yet seen anything meaningful anywhere from anybody to indicate that might happen. We have just one more election cycle to make that happen via rule of law. Otherwise its the end of the run for America.

Every republican running for president have something in common with Obama. They are corporate. Mitt Romney is a corporation walking mascarading as a human.

Neither party will do one thing about the flood of illegals in this country. Bush was a joke. Obama is worse and I see no one running, with the exception of Ron Paul who has any idea on how to keep this country from going completely bankrupt.

And those US soldiers on the border of South Korea should be guarding the US borders, not Korea’s. Same thing goes for Germany and Japan and the other 150 so foreign countries we now waste trillions of dollars in. All empires fold and die because they get the big head and try to control the world. Unless something changes in the US, this country will not exist in 50 years. We are being overran by hispanics and Arabs and sit idly by and do nothing about it. We keep electing New World Order globalists every four years. Only the party label changes.

personally I’d take Paul and Cain in a heartbeat. For some reason many on this forum are wedded to an interventionist military at the behest of an imperial foreign policy. I personally want the boys and girls home and on our borders.

Not very good business however, for the arms industry.

They are already in trouble, even if they don't act like it - China is working hard to try and horn in on our overseas defense contracts.
